3" cds are cheaper, just not proportianally, then standard CDs. They sell them online for like 40 cents, while the cheapest cds ill waste my time with are around 50.
they work fine in both my old-ass cd player from the earlier nineties, and the one i bought a few months ago. It worked in my girlfriends, my moms, and *shudder* my bosses. Though that last one was scary, as shes not the most technically inclined, and well, shes my boss, so I didn't need any trouble! (all of these are feed-front type car decks, btw)
i bought a mess of those for a marketing campaign. The unfortuanate thing is that they dont make stickers for them yet, so i just use them for when im in a hurry and want like 5 songs, or a real small bunch of data. They work great in everything but my old 2x cd writer. The only problem here is that I wanted an MP3 player because it is skip resistant...plus now were back to size restraints due to physical media. Unless its really cheap, i'm just not interested...

its called showmanship. Like how, thanks to Seinfeld's character, George Costanza, I now know when to exit a room. Always leave 'em laughing. Thinking about C&H now gives me warm goose bumbs, thinking about snooby, *yawn*, see, thats what i mean. He was great in his time, and certainly will be missed -- but that shizz was just a little tired near the end.
i could first year. Now you should see my Credit cards...we arent poor until midway through sophomore year, and then by the end of senior year most of us pick up a decent job

if you got the time, (and god knows you need the patience!) teach them to do it...a little hands on shit goes a long way. Dont use techno-geek words, and dont dumb shit down to "thingies" -- but a lot of girls will RESPECT the hell out of you if you treat them like people, I don't think a lot of society does this yet, especially young girls. Im still a little mean to my girl now and then, but it sure got my foot in the door to trust her here and there. (not that she hasn't fucked some stuff up, but so have i when i started this shit).
I have one professor who wrote an entire book on keeping women in computer science, a magnificent brain, with a little vendetta against the guys, but has a really wonderful way of teaching -- someone gave her the time when she was young, and ill be damned if i wanna look at pizza faced white boys my entire sysAdmin life.
bill waterson (sp?) wrote calvin and hobbes. He had had enough, and decided to retire. Dude did that strip for a long-ass time.

except for when we applied sp2 to win2k professional and it corrupted the whole flipping drive. Am I suppose to do this to my webservers w/out taking some time and reviewing the cause?
either way, we're migrating to LinUx, hopefully before the next breach
as much talk as i hear though, this could have just as easily been LinUx that got backdoored and if it was, it probably would have gotten a LOT more attention, even threatened the existence of the OS itself, so CHILL OUT.

shit, i woulda said that about the netscape one, but the browser "comingling" in KDE is sweet. I have always used GNome cuz thats what we have to program in at school, but KDE has some nice features (its fast as hell too) - if it would support half life, I would move everything there.
