My friend lives in a house next to some power lines... He has a 802.11b network that works well.... DSL also has no problems... I've not seen anuthing weird on TV's or monitors (CRT or LCD).... and we set up a satellite dish that pointed through the power lines and got a good signal. They use a standard over the air antenna for local channels, so that works as well....
I had to submit to a credit check for my current job. I work for a defence contractor, and they needed to see if I am possibly bribe-able. We wouldn't want to make espionage easy by using highly susceptible employees...
Last time I investigated this, there were a few handhelds out there, but there were very few devices that had drivers for WinCE. I'm not sure that USB on a linux based hand held is there yet either... I'm not willing to plunk down that much cash to find out that none of my USB stuff works with it...
I think that VNC and XFree86 have two very useful but very different uses. VNC is great in a single user environment. XFree86/Xwin32/eXceed allow someone to connect to a multiuser server and all users can function independently.
That way I can work on my 6-pack
I for one can't use a browser without the Google Toolbar.... Until Google releases a version for this version, I can't switch...
