    It's okay, batteries don't need to be replaced until over 120K-150K, anyway.
    At least on a Prius.
    I'd say even today with hybrid and 50+ MPG, it's worth it. Especially since the car rides well.

    If you're pinching pennies however, you're not near the niche market since it's not sub-$15K

    The whole idea is far from stupid, it's not about money it's about non-polluting via car exhaust.

    They're probably the last that'll have a charging station infrastructure.

    You're pretty new on the whole data collection timescale after accidents, aren't you?
    How is the "black box" supposed to ascertain if it was indeed an accident by your standard, anyway? You should really take that aluminum foil off your head.

    Well, that's the motherboard, yeah... by that logic every computer is basically the same.
    The rest of it is engineered quite a bit differently than a Dell/HP/Sony/Toshiba/etc.

    Actually yeah, I do subscribe to cable. It costs me $40, and don't have to worry about updating/maintaining a computer attached to my TV. I also have Netflix for $7.99 and I can watch movies through my ps3, apple tv, sony bluray, etc.

    Then again, just the fact that you're using a computer to get stuff onto your tv makes me believe it's not about rights or anything else, it's just that you don't have a lot of expendable income. I'm sorry.

    or with Linux & grub:
    grub-install /dev/hda

    Both overwrite the master boot record. It's not some magical thing. Stop acting like it's some unknown religious artifact.
