allocate the bandwidth for what? you do realise that HAM radio only has a small amount of the radio spectrum and most of it is already allocated to commercial, government and military traffic?
as for your troll about a typical radio amateur, well thats just so pathetic and wrong. HAM radio users are as varied as any interest group, all kinds of men and women of all ages, creeds and so on.
i think they're going to re-release all the films with special features and all that other crap. so all the fans will shell out for the same film twice. now thats what i call a franchise!
i've often heard about the LEO (Lyon's Electronic Office) being for the first business application of computing but have yet to see anything about the tech they used and how they developed the system. can anyone point me out to some online info?
PNG is far better than GIFs for web images, i only use GIFs now if some animation is needed. all that alpha stuff other people can explain better produces smaller filesizes of higher quality image.
the reason MacOS has a CLI now is because of what they put in the blender to produce the system (which is totally different than v9!) rather than any pressing need for a CLI!
anyway i am not a GUI zealot, i love opening a command window on my OS/2 boxen and playing around

yeah but only 300 for the whole country i think (i was only half listening to the radio this morning)... and they sold out quick i am sure ;)
i think sony or someone will be bringing out 100 quid digital radios next year too
well there is always linuxppc!
i don't think you'll be seeing a linux based macOS any time soon
funny, i always regarded (and still do) the WPS the best looking GUI ever done. maybe i am just weird
i use Warp on my PC and 2.1 on my laptop
i'm mainly a Mac user though but i use OS/2 a fair bit as well, mostly these days for learning FORTRAN. hmm now i feel old.
indeed, the problem with apple sometimes is that they have too many good ideas - and a lot fall by the wayside
there have been rumours of hypercard OSX but i doubt it will ever come!
its a programming language... kind of. its a little bit like visual basic, only came out first. i've only ever used its results though
hopefully i'll eventually see one of these too
"The crazy adventures of Grand Negas Rom"
now i'd pay to see that =0
well the first film does

OpenGL is also built into OSX i believe
no, it used the direction of the current or something like that... so one way, the other way and off

not to get into a "my country is better than yours" arguement but all that applies to pretty much any country in europe too
but i am 19 days older :P
yeah worked on my 2 iMacs fine too
did u install under OS9 or X though, 9 might be fine
well i run OS9 and my last reboot was 2 weeks ago, and that was to install a new extension
;)
iTunes installs great on OS9 too, good job i didn't try it on my OSX yet
ah sorry, my acorn-fanatic friend assured me they did, he should update his info ;)
i thought they still owned 45% of ARM

well i dunno about the last point, MacOS did fine without a CLI until v10
er you do realise he was making a joke?
