    allocate the bandwidth for what? you do realise that HAM radio only has a small amount of the radio spectrum and most of it is already allocated to commercial, government and military traffic?

    as for your troll about a typical radio amateur, well thats just so pathetic and wrong. HAM radio users are as varied as any interest group, all kinds of men and women of all ages, creeds and so on.

    yeah but only 300 for the whole country i think (i was only half listening to the radio this morning)... and they sold out quick i am sure ;)

    i think sony or someone will be bringing out 100 quid digital radios next year too

    i use Warp on my PC and 2.1 on my laptop

    i'm mainly a Mac user though but i use OS/2 a fair bit as well, mostly these days for learning FORTRAN. hmm now i feel old.

    there have been rumours of hypercard OSX but i doubt it will ever come!

    i think they're going to re-release all the films with special features and all that other crap. so all the fans will shell out for the same film twice. now thats what i call a franchise!

    PNG is far better than GIFs for web images, i only use GIFs now if some animation is needed. all that alpha stuff other people can explain better produces smaller filesizes of higher quality image.

    well i run OS9 and my last reboot was 2 weeks ago, and that was to install a new extension

    iTunes installs great on OS9 too, good job i didn't try it on my OSX yet ;)

    the reason MacOS has a CLI now is because of what they put in the blender to produce the system (which is totally different than v9!) rather than any pressing need for a CLI!

    anyway i am not a GUI zealot, i love opening a command window on my OS/2 boxen and playing around
