... that I'm not the only one who's noticed this glaring ommission. I dislike having to reboot into windows for e-tax.
I've tried running e-tax under WINE, but had troubles, so unless they want to take e-tax online or port it to java instead of MS Visual Basic or whatever it is they use (the widgets are vaguely familiar but I can't remember where they're from)
I would hope that since they're adopting a more open philisophy the openness would flow on to its "end user" applications.
Actually, if you boot to a floppy, the default prompt will be a:\
therefore the correct witty jibe would be
boot to floppy, remove floppy,
A:\>I am so awesome.exe
Bad Command or File Name
No open source developer is going to give up on coding an application they love without a good reason. Gnome and KDE aren't going anywhere. And why should they? Each to their own I say. Let the people compiling the distos decide what window manager they want as default, and if they want to include more than one then hooray for them!

Cheryl then defected to the labor party, and the next day the newspapers came out with headlines: Cheryl: I'm a Bastard.
Cheryl may be out of the picture, but I would disagree that the demorats are a non-event, since they do have a certain sway in the Senate. I'll be tuned to Newsradio ( www.abc.net.au/newsradio ) in anxious anticipation of the next parlimentry broadcast. Should be a load of laughs.
Not as far as the guy in the local computer games shop (Software Botique) knows. Their computer says it'll be on shelves in October. (Just in time for my birthday, I might add) Of course that's Australia.
Same lisence, but MicrosoftDrake would have more spare money than most countries GDP, and enough market leverage to demand all computers come with MicrosoftDrake Linux pre-installed.
OEM versions of the MicrosoftDrake Linux Powerpack would sell for $25 each.
what the? since when is handwriting a unique American form of expression. Last I checked handwriting was done in ancient civilisations dating back many thousands of years. Why do Americans have to come across as such pompus pricks who invent absolutely everything, including handwriting.
I can't speak for the other IM software, but AIM is definately P2P.
Although it connects to a server to notify you of buddies coming online, once you're happily typing to a buddy, you can "directly connect" and bypass the central server altogether, and even sign off if you so desire.
The P2P capabilities of AIM includes sharing out directories, connecting using voip, and sharing images and sounds using the html interface.

I didn't know Mandrake Linux had a paperclip! How do I activate it? ;-)
Do you run it on your Mac?

Would you care if it was MicrosoftDrake?
and after that a bub will increase the size of her inbox/outbox. Great isn't it!
So which company bought Senator Alston?
last time I checked it was 'int' main(args) not 'void' main(args)
*ducks*

Perhaps people should read it.
