sure. your codes are like little diamonds. tiny gems which people will steel at any cost. all hail the super codes coming from your backwater offshore shop.
A country doesn't need to promote high levels of artistry, practical skill or craftsmanship as long as it's got a bunch of cash strongly backed by... uh, umm, yeah, so anyways, the companies in that country can just pay skilled workers in other places to do the work.
Spoken like a Windows, or a Linux desktop user. This is not what computers were originally designed for! I'm thinking batch processing! Keep modding me down you fools!
how about having the systems exhaust their heat outside of the room (similar to a laundry dryer)
I dunno why you have all this gear heating up the datacenter, when it would behoove you to keep that room cool since you have expensive gear in there that tends to perform better in a cool environment!
Another similar but more specialized problem is information pollution on the networks, and even buses, used by extremely high performace machines. I've been involved in the design of systems in which performance was such an issue, that they could provide no security features of their own. Meanwhile, non performance machines with many non enterprise user apps were placed on the same networks, using the same disk arrays!
This is provably an analogous problem but I don't have the time to go into it here and I'm feeling lazy.
Hey it's part of the design of the system we're in. In a country in which we are told from grade school ages that we are free people, invariably boundaries get tested, and the government has a huge job on its hands trying to prevent crime and revolt, not to mention it needs to have the ability to prevent unrest, if need be. ..
In a government by, for the people, it's simply one element.
So, it seems like a general distrust of the government, especially such parts of it as the FBI, is healthy, and after all, they have a general distrust of people themselves.
Sure. And a 4 cylinder engine has beefed up fuel economy. Please tell me where I'm wrong, but doesn't that mean that it's still going to be too hot if you can manage to keep the CPU busy?
or not... contrast the sentiment "well at least They're not pressing charges" with "if They feel I did something illegal why don't I get protection under due process and trial by jury law?"
I think the whole point of using a machine of this size is that you write your custom application specifically with it in mind. I would be highly surprised if after leasing one, or a share on one, IBM doesn't provide documentation on how to create an application which takes advantage of the machine's architecture.
man that is full of shit. it's all highly competitive. if Redhat is less secure than Debian, then everyone affilliated with Debian instead of Redhat geets that nod. Similarly if the standard version of syslog is shown to have some vulnerabilities then osme people are going to look for alternatives and if I put out a more secure version then it will get tkane up. The community's so secure b/c ppl are actually willing to try different versions and study out the security issues whereas 90% of windows users never even bother upgrading their machines w/ patches and 9% of them will jsut get the ms auto-update patches, adn there's only liek 1% that actually understands and studies the securieyt issues. On linux it's probably 10-12% of users studying the issues..
Isn't dark matter like the cosmological constant? Like, there's no direct evidence for it existing, but if you plug it into the equations it makes everything balance out? Always sounded like extremely genius bullshit to me.
I don't know about computers in general, but as for my computer, I don't know it's been doing chores regularly now for a couple months, and I think it's reached a level of maturity where it can take on a few extra responsibilities. Besides what could it hurt, heck I had a paper route when I was its age.
I wonder if all the hits to her site and the great karma because it is really interesting to see these pictures and her narration is great, is causing her to take greater risks--it seems like this latest series has taken her closer to the reactor, and I kind of shuddered to see her sitting on the ferris wheel with the geiger counter.
I wish it was easier to get {stuff people want}. But I guess then it wouldn't be so valuable. Kind of reminds me of Mohammed Ali hurting himself for his career, or 50 cent "I'll do it again, if it means I'm gonna win."
Horrifying when you think about it. B/c there's a part of me which says, "cool! more cherobyl pics!"
I am very much too afraid to type my social security number into google!
How about this: how long will we have to wait until a true-to-the-book adaptation a la LotR is produced?
my head hurts after reading the front page post.

it's two separate areas you fool. yes it's the continent of asia, but at least within the language I speak, russians aren't asian.

Ok I'm done now.

They aren't called spooks for nothing.

I will be glad when anyone teams up to fight what I would call real evil, especial as things might be considered evil within a space of information.
The bringing forth of mental cruft would be one example, as would censorship.
I care about my karma. I felt bad watching it drop during my first several posts. Now it's just like real life, I'm stuck with it!
You all are full of shit up in here.

1 2 3 straight hack that shit
if Mass cant do it Moscow can

there could be no one comprehensive such list in the u.s.
nonetheless I bet a lot of demand would exist for such information
finally, it's funny to see 'victims of persecution' lumped together with spies and informants, I wonder what could be the tie that binds

government regulation of labor _is_ bad!
tacky on, brother, tacky on!
is that like "random walk" on lithium?
I have some so called principles I'm looking to trade for 1.95 billion.
