Given the incredible number of people who read slashdot, I bet other coincidences like this one are pretty widespread. I wouldn't be suprised if a bunch of people are listening to this album when they first read this story.
These gadgets have a little publicized feature that is not desirable. Since they operate by sending a short tone like the phone number has been disconnected, they trick the telemarketer's computers into thinking that your phone number doesn't work. The problem is that calling cards are also routed through similar computers, making people with these gadgets unreachable.

Quote from their web page: "ubiquitous personal computing in a wallet sized device". Is this referring to wallet size before or after you buy the thing?
This type of bug shouldn't really be a problem for anyone running a virus checker that's worth its beans. Just keep it set to check javascript and it should shout at you any time something like this tries to bite you.

No matter what copy protection scheme they try, we're still talking about sound here. Its a simple fact: if you can hear sound you can record it.
This really is good advice. Playing a game always makes me either want to play the game more or go curse at some inanimate object, not be productive.
