  1. Regrettably, in the case of the Epi-Pen refutes every thing that you have written and implied. During the Obama Regime, his cronies at the head of the Epi-Pen's manufacturer played the USA Federal Governments health regulatory, care, and insurance systems to the detriment of those allergy sufferers who needed to carry an Epi-Pen (for life-threatening situations that do occur regularly). As reported by the Main Stream Media, this went on for years and only as Obama was approaching the end of his reign, did the situation begin to change. For example, while the Epi-Pen is a name brand drug, the manufacturer listed the drug as a "generic" so that the Government would pay more for the drug – 2 different Government agencies failed to co-ordinate and permitted the Epi-Pen travesty occur. Also, the Government's non-competitive regulations (patents, etc.) did not permit another manufacturers to produce truly "generic" alternatives. In the last days of the Obama regime, an alternative has been announced but for years the cronies ran wild and the people a high price for a simple drug.

The prep breached the computer system with false data. The prep created a false identity. The prep used the false identity to falsify official records. The prep created false information that affected taxes and the expenditure of tax monies. The prep stole time from the Government. Time that was spent on non-government pursuits and activities. The prep should be sentence to decades of imprisonment as the Federal Laws prescribe! Now, isn't the USA Federal Hacking Law a little (or a lot) silly?

Organ Donation is an expensive proposition for the donors. Until the expense is addressed appropriately it is especially wrong to force people to have to opt-out. The process and expense of donating an organ will bankrupt the average American family. (How's that for unintended consequences.)

Since my state is not in the forefront of any movement, I suspect many other states do the same. God help us if the USA Federal Government gets involved. Then the default will be opted-in and it will take an act of Congress to permit someone to opt-out. In my state, the system is already in place and works very well. No, that is wrong. Charity is just charity. If a drug company contributes free vaccines, the patients receive the vaccines at no cost and a healthier populace benefits everyone. Who cares if the company creates "good will" that benefits it? I know specific people who have benefited because of their gifts given with "no strings attached" so "good will" doesn't disqualify a charitable contribution. Plus (and a really big PLUS), the giver can give their charitable gift in whatever form they want. It's their "money" and they have complete freedom in how, in when, in what, in what manner, etc. that they give. Every gift given frees up money to be spent on the gift-item that can be applied elsewhere.
