I agree. It's kind of like how this one company (i forget which) started licensing the atari brand name for playstation games a couple years ago (like splashdown;( ). They were just probally targeting the older audience that remebers the days the atari 2600 ruled the video game market..... all it is, is a label.
this is of course a marketing ploy to draw on the vintage name of commodore, and might i say a damn good one; if i didnt have an ipod i'd buy from them right away!
it's amazing how in those days one person could determine the rest of our culture today by working on such influential projects that were the precursors to and inspired other works of computer engineering.
man, can't the gov't just fuck off and keep the internet an internationalized space where for once the united states isn't the dominant player. don't mind me, whenever i hear about the internet becoming regulated i get pissed off. weather is weather; nuff' said.
give me a -1 and i'll blow you a new asshole, moderators. i should know i am one.;-P
it's not like the beastie boys even know whats going on with this whole thing, the record label most likely told them "this is how it's going to be", "this is what to tell the public about it". Yes their music is great but they're musicians not programmers or software engineers. duh, i guess;-P
oh, and indulge yourself in a gmail account;-P http://gmail.google.com/gmail/a-f1fbf3fbba-f4 963b4 80e

as phone camera recording devices get more compact and small, the less this bill would have an effect on the general public that goes out to see movies. hell, i've even taken my sony clie ux-50 to a movie to record part of it just for the hell of doing it. it's not going to change much for the most part;-P
Scripting languages are lightweight, easy-to-learn programming langauges which let you glue stuff together in novel and innovating ways without getting bogged down in the Turing Tarpit. Good examples are Perl, Tcl, Python and UserTalk.
thats strange. but anyways, for the users who have a gmail account: i've been leaving my gmail inbox browser window open for long periods of time and i've noticed that that google bot keeps hitting my website frequently. This is aparently how they measure how long and frequetly they measure how often you use your account, and such. And, that in turn determines how often you get offered invites to be given away. look at my stats page here and notice how many bot hits i get from google. coincidence? i think not...;-P
oh, well looks like i messed up on that one ;-P
glad to see it worked for you, tell the others!
wierd, my gmail account is untouched... it must suck to not have one...
so i found this code to create a gmail invite link (dont know if it works)...
