I think that should it be decided that florida needs to revote then the ENTIRE NATION should be required to revote.

Uhm, thats the biggest selling point of Quake, the add-ons. Its not a huge deal, just learn to filter out what you dont play (VERY easy) or go do the simple download for the maps, sounds, or DLL. FunOne

I work with windows, which, unlike *NIX has a few more RAD pakages. I personally DONT want HS teaching more CS. They just create idiot programmers with no real skill, who get out and make pitiful utilities in VB or Delphi.
Remeber, most high school CS teachers are people who COULDN'T get jobs doing REAL programming. They're not going to pass on too much to the newest group of disinterest im-just-here-for-the-credit HS students.
I personally dont know anyone who EVER learned how to program from CS. They either already knew, or just copied the one guy who did to pass.
We dont need more technology in school. We need teachers that are good. We need EVERY student to be able to read,write,add, and isolate the variable. Why dont we get THOSE taken care of first before we start sticking more stuff in.
Personal note, my School-Computer history: Middle School - Mandatory Typing class, played SC2k on teachers computer. Teacher did not know how to make a.bat file. HS - Computer Science - Old teacher left year before for a JOB, new teacher, tried to teach Pascal. Gave everyone the same grade each 6 weeks. For those of you comparing stealing software to stealing a car: You can test drive the car.
If you can, try and find a copy of the Defcon vid feed of the release of BO2k. It spawns a remote thread on the explorer.exe process then copies itself over. This gives it super user access on the machine. Since it is now just a process on explorer.exe, it doesn't show up in 'normal' user tools. Although developer tools would (That show both process & threads).
