My questions is with major label companies conspiring to keep artists under theri thumb through creative missmanagement ( I have to define creative missmanagment. MIssmanagment at least my term means the act or failuree to act to correct a situation in which correcting the situation woudl have the artist relizing that they are being hoodwinked..okay I am trying tobe nice here..drug and drinking abuse is one and there are others as well); how do we get other artist more properly informed about theri rights to their Masters andother issues so that they start voting with their voice andm ind rather than trust a Label ot have their interests at heart?
I would say that JXTA is alos close to securing its own working group fo standards inclusion..
The major difference between Jabber and JXTA is that Jabber runs like a standard IM in that there is a centralized server..
JXTa however does not use any central server.. its straight P2p decentralized..

THe CEO dreamed of being the project manager and dreamed of being a skilled CEO..
I ended up working 145 hour weeks with no end in sight, loss and unrecoverable feees, and a strong distaste for www.ecorp.com
If you enter a project where you are coding more than 5 hours per day, 5 days a week leave!
Why? Becasue even under the best conditions the person acting as a Project Manager will have no experience in your language or project management...in which case you will need that 3 hours per day to straighten out the proejct management effort.
Oh and yes this individual managed by having 8 hour meetings..run if you have that!
A well run meeting is one hour..no more no less..
Ways to avoid this, ask alot of specific questiosn up front about proejct management and project specs...and walk away from a project when you need to..
I hope that the people reading this can learn from this to avoid situations like this..

Espial wanted to get into the mobile dev market having develoeprs use their light gui toolkit, testing tools, and other tools..
What they did is started a developers website knwon as devicetop.com with year coding contests fro prizes in cash, developer boards to echange ideas and code, an application showcase board, and etc.
Whil ethe market is in a current slump Espial has managed to snare top honors with tis innovative java courses in mobile programming(some say better than Sun's own)..
Not only that they have snared some pretty big CE clients using their tools like Sony by using this approach..
By focussing on the developer they were able to sell their set box OS system which is where they make their money..
The important points:
-Make the tool set free -set up developer boards and contests -Make contest free to enter! -Listen to developers
Back when domain names were free a whole lot of cybersquatters like ecorp.com got 5,000 or more domain names..
and then lost them due to trademark and name infringement and the like through WIPO proceedings..
I don't think WIPO needs any more work than it has right now.. and this woudl just open org domains up to cyber squatters.. we have enough problems with this issue of cyber squatters not to make changes that might increase the problem..
Since Radio and record Lables have acted monopolistic in nature to reducing the choics of quality music..
One would think if one offered a P2p music service with the ability for local bands to add their works and a play sample that this would be a very big business idea..
