    Well, there is the fact that the Chinese commies murdered 60,000,000 people in pursuit of their utopia. And dammit, didn't achieve it. I mean, if they HAD achieved socialism, it would have been worth it. 60,000,000 human beings dead, but the end-state would have justified the means. The best part would have been that they PROVED that it could work, and provided the rest of the world a template to get there. Of course, the road would have been paved with murdered humans, but that kind of thing gets glossed over when we're talking about the final victory of socialism.

    Of course, this completely ignores the 100,000,000 people that the US government has murdered since 9/11, but hey. We can't all be perfect.

    Uhhh...that's exactly what happened to the people the Communist government sent in to deal with Chernobyl. They died like flies (not that the government gave a shit about them). They were known as 'liquidators' and they were either coerced into going, or the government simply lied to them and told them the situation wasn't hazardous. But not to fear - the government gave the ones that survived a piece of metal with a design on it to compensate.

    It's totally OK to do that, though. Did you ever read any leftist history books? They judge the whole of American and European history by politically correct standards that didn't exist until after 1990, and they consider themselves completely in the right to do so.     He's right, though. 60 Minutes has a long history of being full of shit, of lying to people they interview, of editing interviews to make people look bad, and other standard journalistic techniques.

    You might want to check - it's the anti-nuclear zealots who are bad at science. Ask them if a nuclear power plant can explode like a nuclear bomb sometime, you'll be surprised (or not) by the horribly misinformed responses you get.

    It's more like they have way too much money, and having it, feel the need to spend it on stupid shit like that picture viewer that nobody asked for.     Here is a book you need to read: Lenin, Stalin, and Hitler: The Age of Social Catastrophe. It is extensively footnoted so you can check out all the references if you desire. Lenin's benevolence was a myth created after his death. Hell, check out the Kronstadt Rebellion - people rebelled against the Communists in 1921. Lenin accused them of being imperialist stooges because they were starving and wanted to eat. He crushed them utterly, killing most and executing the rest.
