    Actually, that's pretty much exactly what network television does, and they're rolling in the dough.

    Network television is valuable? That's news to me. I'd better grab my TiVo and start copying those expensive 'Friends' episodes. I predict that someday we will all use them as a form of currency.

    Wow! "News for Nerds" reaches a new cosmic low. I'd personally like to see more coverage about Parliamentary Procedure, but I can sure see how this Pledge of Allegiance stuff applies better to the Slashdot crowd.

    Please people, can we avoid the stupid crap that is covered Ad Nauseum by CNN, USAToday, and freakin' MSNBC?

    Before I can post a comment I'm supposed to follow Important Stuff like "Please try to keep posts on topic."

    Why in the hell am I supposed to keep posts on topic when the story shouldn't even be here in the first place?

    Taco needs to add a "Stupid Story Threshold" to the User Preferences page so we can weed this junk out.

    Tired of distributions that aren't flexible? Can't do an "rpm -Uvh" without downloading oogles of other package dependency crap? Why not try "Slackware" (TM). Yes, that's right, "Slackware". It slices, it dices, it does everything you would think a bsd-type linux shoud do... and more! Just surf on down to your local mirror and check it out

    Damn. I forgot about that stupid third party kernel patch for my Tekram/Creative Labs/Nvidia/ hardware.

    Looks like I'll have to wait another month for those NDA morons to catch up again.
