The judge didn't say "Go out and censor violent video games". He said that local government has to power to restrict the access of minors to violent video games.
I'm all for censorship belongs in the home, but if a town decides an arcade should be carding that's fine by me.
You'd think so but my alma mater doesn't specify that. The only thing they specify is that I can't use their computers for financial gain. But my senior project was written on my computer. I never signed it over or anything.
Can the students also sell the code?
I'm sure they couldn't sell the product as is.
But can they give it a touch up and sell it themselves if they wrote the entire thing?
If I were to send someone an email address with faked details, wouldn't that be my prerogative?
Whether you may or may not spoof your email isn't the issue here. Whether or not a company can is.
Companies do not have the right to give fraudulent information.
The recent years have been dark for Nintendo for adults.
They haven't been able to develop a solid adult line. I haven't been very happy with the recent Zelda's and Goldeye sequels and copies weren't too good.
But there have been individual stars (Conker's Bad Fur Day, Rogue Squadron, and others)
I've also been a fan of the Mario Party series. They're childish, but they do make fun drinking games.
Nintendo is definitely creating more adult oriented games.

I'd say that's pretty gray. You could certainly expect a lawsuit if you were found out, but it would focus on proving that adding noise to a cd is an actual protection. They'd probably win according to the DMCA.
These guys luckily didn't write a new program, they just found an existing driver that did the job beforehand. No violation there.
They didn't actually write any software, just pointed to the location of a previously written driver. The driver itself isn't a violation of DMCA because it wasn't originally written to bypass the protection.
I really think they should release the source and allow developers to make any (unsupported) tools. The company still sells the hardware, and opens it up to a larger audience with little cost.
There's already a slew of good ideas in this forum.
Thanks for ignoring the actual meat of the message.
A lack of education is bad for the economy.
The American government makes you give them money so that they can protect the rights of everyone, as well as ensure the stability of the nation.
One of the factors in the stability of the nation is education.
A government is useless if it can not maintain itself.
We pay taxes to ensure our rights are kept and to help the nation thrive.
Well, that's the reason for taxation anyway.
You don't buy other people firearms and podiums because it doesn't help maintain the country (unless you're talking about military or politicians, which is iffy anyway).
Because we all know, if you are born poor you can just work hard and get rich.
Oh wait, how can you get a good paying job without an education?
I guess you'll just have to be poor forever.
Should you have kids? Nope, that would just make more poor people. If no poor people had children then they'd all eventually die and there would be no poor.
Yeah right.
A lack of public education freezes classes (no pun intended) in their places.
The rich will always be rich because they can afford to learn, and the poor will always be poor because they can't.
As a businessman how can you chose to limit your potential workforce by denying the majority of them education?
Everyone who sends email has email.
Granted, their's appears to be
LLIIQQQUUIIIDDD VVVIIIAAGGGRRRAAA@hotmail.com
But if they direct you to a website, which is
often the case, then that web site has an email.
Send it to the basic addresses.
webmaster@blank.com, and so on.
Just filter out the bounce backs.
Heck you could send an email to every word/name combination until you got one through.
Better yet, Spammers the Spammers.
We don't have to roll over and take their abuse.
If you can find a valid email address for a Spammer (easier said then done) setup a cron job to email that person their own ads.
Over time the individuals influence would lessen, due to filtering, but if we all stand up (and maybe spoof a bit) then we can make an impact.
Who says vigilante justice is out of style?

Capcom vs SNK 2 is probably the most similar to super smash brothers for PS2
Other games that aren't really similar but I like to play with friends are:
TimeSplitters
NHL 2001 (although I hear NHL Hits is good)
DOA2

We use hotkeys or just memorize the setup.

Some people might call that excessive though.
