Good question, why doesn't Comcast add up all the time in the commercials I watch and subtract that percentage of time from my bill

Quite the contrary. Comcast will soon be introducing a "Promotional Materials Viewing Fee", since after all you are watching their Intellectual Property. They plan on charging you a very modest 55 cents per commercial per view. Of course for $10 a month you can view all their ads an unlimited number of times per month.

You know that stock that dropped 8% today? Who says it's not going to drop another 8% tomorrow too? And the day after. I've seen stocks go from $18 to $6 within a week, and stay there for months. Stocks in billion dollar companies with healthy fundamentals and little debt. Example, look up COCO (NASDAQ) from last Christmas up until about a month ago.

Never try to catch a falling knife, and never try to "time" the market. It has more money than you. The TREND is your friend. Learn that, and save yourself a couple thousand bucks.

And it's not gambling, it's called an "educated guess". Stock movement is far from random. You just have to have enough experience to learn the patterns. If it was gambling I would be right as often as I was wrong. It turns out that although I lose money, I make a lot more than I lose.

Of course if everyone starts "day trading" once they have access to "real time quotes" that will make me very happy indeed. More people I can take money from.

There's not much point in having "realtime" and "level II" if what you're going to do is pick up your telephone and "call your broker" to "place a trade". You either day trade, or you don't. Only day traders need real time quotes. Everyone else is just going to lose more money as they panic during the typical daily rollercoaster ride. Hmmm now that I think of it, this should help volatility overall. Happy times are coming!!!

The latter aren't evil. They think they're doing the right thing by opposing the US, and - newsflash - to be honest most of the world agrees with them.

See the problem now is that the very word "terrorist" has been corrupted far beyond its original meaning. There are almost 1 million people on the "No Fly/Terrorist watch list". And that number is increasing daily. "Terrorist" has gone from its original definition - "idiots who blow up bars, discos, train stations and movie theatres, or hijack aircraft, killing innocent civilians in high profile events to draw the world's attention to their political agenda" to a new one - "anyone who says/does something the US government does not approve of". Like failing to notice the Humvee that's headed towards you at full speed in Iraq (the penalty is summary execution - for being in the wrong lane). Or campaigning against the occupation of Iraq. Or speaking out about Guantanamo, "waterboarding", or the current US administration. Yep, even skateboarders are terrorists nowadays. Do NOT skate near a federal building, or supercops will bully you for endangering public safety through your acts of terrorism.
