You mean, sounds like the typical anti-Christian stereotype of modern American Evangelical Christians. Where did you pick up this ridiculously biased and inaccurate view, in college or something?
None of the points you've made are at all representative of American Evangelical Christians, and in fact that last one seems especially representative of left-wingers. Remind me who keeps attacking / shouting down speakers on college campuses?
I'm a Java and Groovy developer with some C# and.NET experience. Even if you don't use.NET at all, this stands as an excellent criticism of Java on its own.
Even the New York Times has admitted that "the real possibility that the disclosure of Ms. Plame's identity, while an abuse of power, may not have violated any law,"
About your questions: 1) False, Valerie Plame was not an undercover agent when Novak's column was published. 2) False, see above 3) Questionable - I haven't seen this before, do you have a source that I can check out?
Yeah, I just loved the effect that this experience has in showing how.... professional these geeks must be! Cmon, this is a TECH circus, how hard it is not to print database error messages to your web pages?

Hmm. Comparing the speed of processors with different architectures based on their clock speed (1000Mhz G4) doesn't work. But you are right that the G4 processor speed increases have stagnated.
Fortunately Apple has been optimizing Mac OS X for speed, and Jaguar should show heavy speed improvements, which will make up for the difference.
Heh, not a non-problem. On an 80-Gig HD formatted with HFS, you're minimum file size is 2.5mb. That's pretty lame.
What I want to know is why it took so long to introduce file names longer than 31 chars to the MacOS. Back when Win95 came out, Apple had a ridiculous ad campaign making fun of it, congratulating MS for putting out a system that supports more than 8 char filenames. Except that Windows 95 leapfrogged the Mac's 31-char file limit. Really, is it so hard to have data structures for file io that have more than 31 places for filenames?
Hmm. I'm self-employed with a home office and three machines, running Mac OS X, Windows 2k, and RH Linux. Okay, 33% of each platform.
It's just great. If everyone had this setup I could read Slashdot much more quickly, cause all you platform bigots would run out of things to spew. Maybe you could start picking on Generalissimo Bush then, that might be nice.

Me too. I've got a Dr Bott USB switcher and am using it for a Mac, PC w/ Win2k, and a PC w/ RH7.0 Linux.
If there's any problem it's with using a USB KVM. The Linux PC needs to be switched to 'active' when booting, and be given a chance to recognize the keyboard. Otherwise it (or any other USB device) won't be recognized.
The hosts file used in Classic MacOS has the name/ip pairs reversed. You can load it from the TCP/IP control panel when the "advanced" user mode is enabled. Try this:

cw.cache.imgis.com 127.0.0.1

This is a common rule in most gui's:
Only track a control while the cursor is in the control's area.
This goes for menus, buttons, scrollbars, etc.
For an example, try clicking in your window's close box, moving the mouse away, and then releasing your mouse's button. If you release the mouse button outside the control area, nothing will happen.

Mod this parent up!
Al Gore, George Bush and Arnold Schwarzenegger have all been drug users, and they somehow became 3 of the most powerful people in the world.
Al who?
Other questions?
:P
Yeah, why are you such a partisan nutball?

If Doom 3 weren't so f***in' dark, I could probably compare the two engines myself.
So?
Obviously Tim screwed up, and should have used the WebKit API.
WOOT!
Let's Pillage!
What? You have Python and you're not using Cheetah Templates for your display logic?
Simplify, man, simplify.
Actually that's a 1-bit image (black & white), unless you were making a pun on "two bit".
Step 5: Get real - hire a booth babe in Xena garb and have her sell the drinks at 300% markup.
No kidding.
"Okay, now compile, rinse and spit!"
You're right, that's a very good point. Apple is locking 3rd party developers out of that feature.

Worked for me - I went to the page and clicked the "pi.cr.yp.to" link, went to the site, no problemo. Using IE 5.1 for Mac OS X 10.1.4.
