    As I recall, several Muslim associates of the Manchester bomber reported his behavior to the authorities prior to the attack. Nothing happened.

    He's responsible for Bush era policies he didn't reverse, and Bush era criminals he didn't prosecute. They'll be right back at it under the Trump regime, and why wouldn't they, if they could skate though two terms of a Democratic administration with no worries.

  12. The article that I saw said that at this point the side effects preclude mass distribution. A risk that might be worth taking in the middle of an outbreak might be unacceptable for general use in the absence of the disease. It's not like vaccinating everyone is going to wipe out Ebola, since its reservoir is non-human species.

    The really big under-the-hood change in macOS appears to be a completely new file system. There was a mention on MacNN but not a lot of details yet.

    I've been generally happy with mine, and in spite of the couple of times I've become annoyed enough to switch back to the old watch, I've always come back to it after a short time. My biggest beef has been with the pulse monitoring--it's accuracy has been unpredictable enough to make it worthless for me. I don't even bother tracking it in the Health app any more. I'm hoping newer technology in a future model will fix the problem.

    Actually, that steaming pile was the fault of Eisenhower and his CIA who got us mixed up with the coup that installed the Shah. Add to that our promotion of Isalm in the Mideast and SE Asia to fight Godless Communism and the current mess can be seen in large part as blowback from the activities of the idiot anti-Communists of old.

    Leaving aside "never going to war ever", it would be easy for the US to quit killing people in Afghanistan, especially since bin Laden and Mullah Oman have been dead for years. It's a pretty safe bet that none of the people we're fighting had anything to do with 9/11. Just leave.

    He did commit a real crime--structuring the bank withdrawals to avoid their reporting requirements. He had been withdrawing the money in $50K increments until he found it the transactions would be reported. He also chose to lie to the Feds about it You could challenge the law in court or lobby to get it changed it you want.
