  1. Re:Don't know on Receive Spam, Make Money! · · Score: 1

That's a bunch of shit. When you get your own domain, soon your contact email will be flooded by spam. The spam is from the same group of hard-core spammers. See spamhaus.org for the list. Thir MO is to blast and blast repeatedly. Ralsky hosts his spamsites off a cable and changes domains on a 3-4 day basis. You will sooner or later get his CONGRATULATIONS FREE VACATION timeshare spam or his BERRYTRIM WEIGHT LOSS "banned affiliate" spam -- guaranteed. There are several outfits like that that might be called serial spammers, and they are responsible for 90 percent of the spam volume. Ralsky has been sued successfully in MI and WA and yet he still spams.

Besides making users wait all day for the animation to load, do they really like having to pay all the bandwidth? Have a look at this one (White Trash softcore site): http://www.katies-world.com and bring along a barf bag.

On windows it put a program which spawned popup ads in IE5+ despite running popup stopper. Use CTRL+ALT+DELETE to find the damn thing and disable it, and you will find WinMX is the best out there right now. It COULD use anti-leech and anti-bot functions to stop all those French assholes who try to download all 1,700 of your files while sharing 0.

Search ebay on Plasma Screens or Nikon D1x and check out the number of sellers with 0 feedback, shades and two-day-long member histories. Then go to http://www.unicornelectronic.com and see one of their sites.
The thing that gets me is thet there are still ppl who bid on those auctions. I find it difficult to feel sympathy for those bidders, although the sellers piss me off only slightly more than spammers.

I don't think anyone pressured them. I looked at their service some time ago, bookmarked but didn't sign up. This was back in May or June. At the time they had a free version of privacy 2.something. All I wanted it for was the ability to fil out web forms with fake information for antispam work. I decided to go with it and went back a week later, only to find thiir entire site 404. I checked it again a few days later and the free download was gone. I wasnt going to pay $49 for a prog with a feature I am too lazy to write myself. For all I know their prog justs generated random info without attempting to correlate city, zip and areacode.
My guess is they are on the dot-com ropes and need cashflow.

It doesn't say "military purposes" anywhere, just "government." As in the same Chi gov't which won't enforce copyright over there. Seems to me people were bitching about Chi lux developers not honoring the GPL, right here on /. the other day. More likely the paranoiacs at the MPAA/RIAA are freaking over the possibility of hwood movies getting loose over there.
