My first thought was to randomly shout loudly whilst walking near these things. Cue confused "operator" wondering why he's been alerted to watch a fat middle aged oaf peacably walking down the street.
I wonder if those cameras can tell the difference between a shout and a loud belch. If not, they'll be watching a lot of peaceful fat middle-aged oafs.
Just look at the Dan Rather incident, he wasn't even responsible for that content, and he got shit canned for it. Rather's job on the show was to read the news, whatever was given to him and do the show, shows like that never have the anchor do much beyond that and a few interviews.
IOW, Dan Rather was little more than a trained parrot. If that's what "news" is, it's no wonder blogging is becoming more respectable than "journalism".
However, if you are unable to set emotion aside and evaluate it objectively then let's go for walking and talking on your phone. Again, you will find that one interferes with the other, you'll probably walk slower and such as you are thinking about your conversation as well as where you are going, you may have to stop to dial or press keys in response to auto prompts and such. That doesn't mean that it is going to be more efficient to get to where you are going, then pull out your phone and make your call. Despite both tasks suffering, there is still an overall gain.
Not neccesarily. If my walking while phone-talking is slow enough, I might be better off stopping to talk, and resuming my walking afterwards. Similar situation if I walk into a telephone pole, or wander down the wrong street for 5 minutes while I'm yelling at the caller.
Yes, so is changing the station on your radio, selection of a new CD or talking to the person next to you.
Changing my radio station takes 2 seconds. Not many phone calls are that short. And, considering how often I realized that I haven't heard a word my GF said to me during a 1/2 hour drive, I see no point in trying a phone conversation while driving.
Sure, but solar & wind have their own problems. How well does solar work in Seattle? As for wind, aren't most environmentalists against wind because windmills are ugly and kill birds?
I didn't build squat. I complained when all the local businesses closed and/or moved, forcing me to drive miles to the nearest Kmart/Walmart. I live near a bus route, but nothing else worth going to is on the bus route, including my job. And I don't drive a vehicle that's bigger than my house.
Yes, the US made a lot of stupid decisions that are biting us in the butt now, but most of the individuals had little say in those decisions.
"Sex offender" could also mean consentual sex with a 15 year 364 day old girl on his 18th birthday, or he got caught peeing in the bushes. Neither of which should be a capital offense.
That wasn't quite true in my case. My first year in Junior High (they didn't call it "middle school" then), I got into fights all the time. I seldom had to fight the same goon twice, but there was no shortage of new goons.
For me, NT4 crashed several times a month, sometimes several times a week. That was a lot better than Win9X's daily or even hourly crashes, but still not very good. So far, both XP and Vista have been very stable.
In theory, companies are supposed to compete with other companies and not get as powerful as governments. In practice, Adam Smith's dream has as many holes as Marx/Lenin's.
I wonder, though, how many of those people who think he's a Muslim, got that from blogs. I think a lot of them just jumped to the conclusion that Barack Hussien Obama must be Muslim. Though, I'm mystified about why they think a Muslim has a loud-mouthed Reverend.
What does marriage have to do with sex?
Well, I'd say that if his WoW addiction interferes with his DM duties, he's doubly in trouble!

And air that you CAN see is better? :-P
Of course, if you use a racial epithet in the wrong part of town, you MIGHT end up using a racial epitaph.
But will anyone notice the difference?
I thought they did that a day or two ago. I smell dupe!
I'll admit it's hard to come up with a "clever" name that tops the real name of cBS.

That's why we have SUVs.

If my phone is on a hard table, the vibration makes more noise than the ring!
Oops! *goes back to read paper that my ex-GF gave me to sign*

Just out of curiousity, how did you buy a house with that income? Is it in a decent area?
Yeah, but with rents like that, anyone who isn't a millionaire must be living in a cardboard box!
I'm sure people said the same things about the countries where it DID happen.
Maybe, but it doesn't help if the "splash" is the sound of FF3 downloads falling in the mud.
