If you force management to add women, it won't change much, since nobles, naturally, have an amount of women roughly equal to those of men. I think that socially, we are suffering from analysis paralysis, both romantically and just with finding friends.

Finally, I do agree with you about one thing. It is quite possible that this is one of the better periods in history. While I personally think that the 70s were better, I do agree that in general, the last 100 years are probably better than the one before them. However, I think that many old problems still exist, and technology doesn't solve them, but only mask them. Entertainment has taken over the role of religion as an escape mechanism for the masses. Maybe this is inevitable, maybe this is the human condition, I don't know. If you manage to be happy, good for you, but I think that throughout history, many people used drugs and alcohol and faith and books and now online entertainment, in order to escape the fact that their life just plain sucks.
Fortnite is not special, neither is alcohol nor weed nor pills nor social networks. The only thing that IS special, is that our reality is intolerable for more and more people, and they find forms of escape. Can you blame them? For many people, life is just going to work, not having anyone they are close to, and if they are a man, knowing that they are never allowed to cry or express frustration (I guess there is some parallel for women, but I'm not a woman so I do not feel like I should say how they feel). Frankly, I suspect that a lot of modern technology and economy are just dedicated to create ways for people to escape the empty lives that they have.
