There is one waste product from nuclear plants that people seem to always overlook. They raise the ambient temperature of whatever area they are in. This is a small amount, and I'm not even sure that it's noticable anywhere, but it is there, and will affect the environment over time.
GCs are a dime a dozen if you and your friends like the system. Out of about 10 friends, over half have GCs, and about half of them have GBA players. But I don't think that's really the norm.
I only have one comment: as for the closed-source drivers for ATI and nVidia video cards, there are legal and business reasons for them to provide only closed-source drivers even for an open source OS. They said that the MPAA was concerned that with open sourced drivers you could remove the macrovision protection as it wasn't exactly hard-coded into the TV-out chips. Also, if they open-source the drivers it's easier for the competition to see exactly how their GPU does its' work (yes, this is a weak argument and is more likely to cover up how badly some of their coders code, as far as readability and ease-of-debugging go).
I used the Win2K API for transparency through a version of Winamp. It worked beautifully. Got sorta bored with it though as the transparent winamp didn't really do anything for me.
Here is a review of the new X800 card. It seems to have the PS2.0 like you say, but with extensions. Other than that it's comparable, but faster (raw pixel pushing and such), than the new nVIdia card. Now, I prefer ATI cards for their raw speed, but I acknowledge that nVidia's card may possibly be faster or prettier in the new engines.
He would, if he had ever experienced it. I won't tell yo uof it because it's better to keep the plebeians in their place by not telling them what they are missing.
I have to say that not everywhere has someone who speaks English. I was driving cross-half-country in the US and stopped for gas in a small town down south. All the signs were in English, but nobody seemed to speak it.......
I've used hibernate in WinXP for my desktop, and exclusively used suspend/hibernate on my laptop when it was running Windows. I'm sorta pissed that now I have my laptop running Linux that suspend and hibernate don't work:(
From what I've seen, S3 didn't work well til 2000, and only on certain configurations. When XP rolled around, both worked on every single machine I tried.
I know that doesn't help you, but that's my experience.
He deserves the funny mods, seeing as just about any single male here (and many who aren't) would love to say the same thing. Oh, and lesbians, I haven't counted you out, I'm just not part of the group so I don't feel comfortable making blanket statements about your sexual desire for Morgan.
Just rest assured: G4 is as bad as everyone says it is. There is once in a long while a gem among their programming, but then they sweep it under the rug once it's played once, or they play it so much that you forget that it ever aired.
Except that your example doesn't work, since downloading MP3 diles hasn't hurt the CD market share, whereas this could hurt Canon's bottom line.

That's why I've started just downloading PDF files instead of opening them in the browser. I've noticed IE does the same thing with Acrobat...
Just not in your lifetime, right? ;)

They're talking about popup ads, not banners. Read the fucking synopsis of the article.

The heater left itself on. Are you trying to tell me the heater isn't a sentient being?
How about a sharpshooter and a rifle instead? more accurate and better range.
You've never had any of the higher math classes have you? (and I'm not talking about anything as simple as calculus)
In short, yes, 1+1=2 is probabilistic.
ummm, no, he's wrong. Read the article, not the headline. The article states the correct 250 million years
When the "long waves" hit the ground they are radiated back as shorter waves, and that's why the stuff lets it through but then traps it.
Or you could have high detail gameplay.
Seems like it. They weren't doing too badly until they started playing the Rockies.....

I'm surprised, those are almost the same framerates I got on a GF2MX200 with an Athlon 1800+.
umm, he could also be talking about playing it on an x86 FreeBSD box. Or did you forget there was something besides x86 Linux, Windows, and Mac.

Thunderbirds?
Ick.
I can at least watch battlebots once in a while. Thunderbirds just made me want to gouge my eyes out.
stupid AC
