They had some content last summer during their "g-phoria" festival thing. They had intelligent conversations with some developers and such. But, alas, once "g-phoria" was relegated to history, the channel mainly sucked balls again.

There is a show every once in a while where they do have intelligent commentary, but they're few and far between.

It's on digital cable here, but you have to pay something like $150-200 a month for the package that includes TechTV (as well as most of the premium channels I believe). This is in great contrast to satellite where every provider I have seen has TechTV as one of the main channels on the second tier (which is barely above basic in cost).

I don't call 3 burglaries a "rash of burglaries" regardless of if it was $5 worth of stuff stolen or $5 million, seeing as the victims seemed to not invest any of that (quite abundant) money on a working security system or a safe. I also don't really care if those are the first burglaries in that municipality, since that really has no bearing.

Yes, I am Christian, specifically Catholic. I am tolerant of other views, and am one of the few "true believers"* that doesn't believe you all are going to hell for being of a different religion.

    * True believers (for my definition) believe that Jesus is The Way, the Truth and the Light, meaning the way to heaven is through Him. There is much argument as to whether that means you have to partake of the eucharist to be "through Him" or if that phrase is meant as if your actions follow his teachings (more or less, at least, in the case of other religions).

I agree with this. Then maybe the idiot Linux users who say "they're idiots for using Windows anyways" will have one less thing to gripe about.

I use Windows, have never installed any spyware. I haven't done 90% of things those linux users gripe about. But they will still call me stupid for not totally hating Windows.

I use linux as well, but I have a problem where my school uses proprietary software, and I use propietary software (games) as well. So I need to use Windows as I never figured out how to make Wine work flawlessly. I'm still working on it, but don't think I will ever be totally free from Windows as long as most things are stuck there.
