Religion isn't bad. In fact, a true religion has a lot in common with science - it's a continual proofing to make sure the belief holds. A follower of a religion should also be able to explain to others not only what they believe, but why they believe it - a study called "apologetics."

And how it actually works in practice: (Fingers stuck in ears) Laa! Laa! Laa! I'm obviously right, so you're wrong! You must now convert to my favorite religion, or I'll kill you. And I'll probably kill you even if you do! Laa! Laa! Laa! I can't hear you!

Go to the Gnome web page, and the "documentation" there is either puff pieces (rah! rah! its soo wunderful!), Gnome1 (obsoleted), or Gtk+ (a related , but different library). Sorry, nothing on actually using Gnome2.

Please PLEASE can people like this read the links, and read about the consensus. If they have specific points to rebutt with the evidence then this is interesting (especially if they have training in the area).

i.e. I don't know anything about it, but will those idiot scientists that say that it isn't happening shut up, and let the 'experts', like Katie Kurik, tell us what's really happening.

This does not mean you have to agree with Kyoto (it's clearly flawed in some areas), nor that you have to believe that global warming is our fault, but you should have some damn good facts and links!

Coal contains a significant quantity of radioactive elements, and a coal powered plants generate a much larger volume per day of radioactive waste than a nuclear power plant would in a whole year.
