Oh, and no solutions are provided in the article either, other than to replace the current swag of corrupt politicians with a new swag of corrupt politicians.
Since when does the extremely patriotic act of public scrutiny require the individual to provide a solution? Would you rather problems in the government go unnoticed by the people?
Ben Franklin was asked a couple hours after the birth of this nation, "So what do we have? A monarchy or a republic?" and Franklin replied cautiously, "A republic... if you can keep it."
It doesn't take fists to show might, and you don't have to kill to be taken seriously. I personally think that people who want to commit homicide are off their rocker (war is mass murder, incase you missed that). You seem to think it is the only means to be taken seriously. I feel truly sorry for you.
my head. I have another one but its to long to post and has the potential to backlash on me hard because the first amendment is a lie. You cannot say anything you want. Freedom of speech does not mean you can speak your mind freely.
its not nessicarily legal to post any information you want about your employer. life is a bitch, you can't always blame microsoft.
does the constitution apply to minors?

the government does not have the right to track and monitor a citizen's every move. it goes against the notion of privacy. IANAL, but it seems it would be an illegal search of a citizens life. on that same note, no business has the right to put full tabs on its employees because that is a violation of their rights. if it is wrongful to disregard the privacy an adult citizen of this country then we must also frown apon any attempt to ignore the privacy rights of minors. they are citizens as well but do not get the luxury of having their voices heard. they cannot vote. it is, therefore, the duty of all the adult citizens of this nation to protect the rights of minors because they cannot do it themselves.

coincidences are merely coincidences. you are the one reading between the lines and making the connections between 'CCCC' and 'NAZI'. the band 311 can also represent KKK (3 * 11th letter in the alphabet) but does that mean that they hate black people?
no... not anymore. it has become:
"by the money for the money."
but we need to protect our funds so maybe:
"by the military for the military in the name of peace"
would be more appropriate.
i'm sorry my country contributes to terrorism. i'm sorry my country has weapons of mass destruction. i'm sorry my country funds camps. i'm sorry my country does not respect UN resolutions. i'm sorry i'm religious. i'm sorry i'm ignorant. i'm sorry i directly fund war criminals. i'm sorry i fund israel. i'm sorry for bush.

so let me get this straight, you're bitching at people for reading this thread while you read it yourself? you must be american... what are you doing with your time thats so damn special?
paying my taxes funds terrorism. the united states is an occupying country that funds other occupying countries. occupation is the worst form of terror known to man. why don't we focus on making peace with the terrorists vs. killing them. let them get their damn money. if they don't wanna kill anyone then it doesn't fucking matter. i think my favorite piece of shit on what funds terror has to be the drug war. buying drugs has the potential to fund terror.... but think of all the jobs that you help provide with that money. you think its easy to find work down in columbia???? buying cocaine helps feed the children of that nation. by stopping drug traffic we are starving children, raising unemployment, and in general pissing a whole lot of people off.

mistakes created intelligence. what happens when intelligence creates intelligence? we haven't come close to designing a computer complex to the nature of our brains. by saying we have souls is saying that we're special in someway. that we are something that cannot be created by humans. why don't you wait and decide on whether we do or don't have souls after all possible theories and experiments have been exausted? if you don't, you're giving up way to early and not giving science a fighting chance.
sorry... submitted before i finished my thoughts. there is alot to be learned in attempting to secure an aristocratic complex network because of its decentralized nature. it would be in no way an easy task. the research should quite interesting -daniel
the internet is not that vulnerable... except to a nonrandom hazard. for example, a whole lot of internet traffic would not bring the internet down. it would slow it quite a bit... but taking the internet down by flooding with traffic would be incredibly hard. however, by taking out specific nodes on the internet there would be a dramatic effect. the internet being an aristocratic complex network of sorts is bound by the small worlds theory. the health of a network can be defined by the largest degree of seperation between any two points on the network. if the degree of seperation is low, the network is considered healthy. a nuclear blast on the westcoast would drive up the degree of seperation up a bit, but i think that the network could handle the stress since the west coast is only one portion of the network.

get the facts straight. of the programming princples that microsoft relys on (i realize thats practically an oxymoron) are full backwards compatibility. microsoft didn't kill java, sun made changes to java that didn't promote full backwards compatibility. microsoft attempted to make changes to allow for backwards compatibilty and sun flipped (though if you read the licensing agreements signed by both microsoft and sun, microsoft had every right to do so.) i use unix based operating systems and love them. i find windows to be alot less powerful and less useful for my needs... the main reason being because of microsofts reliance on backwards compatibility. why do you think it takes so long for patches to come out for microsoft products? why do you think the programmers hate working there? sun made some dumb decisions.... and screwed themselves in the process. dont hate microsoft for simply being a large company. not everything microsoft does/has done is wrong/illegal. -daniel
