That would be fine except: -MS will not share this "business advantage" -Many do not trust MS updates. Especially since the Aug 2007 secret auto-update.
I have a Motorola KRZR and the phone says it's getting charged when I plug it into my PC.
What I have heard is that charging it via a USB port can overcharge the battery and shorten the battery life greatly. That might explain why other KRZR users complain about the battery dying quickly after 6 months. (I'll be able to confirm in 5 months)
You are right. The strange thing is that some FF updates do get installed with XP's "Limited User" accounts but some just fail. No rhyme, no reason. For those that failed I had to log on with an Admin account and let the FF update install.
FF needs a updater service that runs in the System context so that all FF updates can get installed without the user being logged on as an administrator.
Actually, the ME disaster was a plus for MS.
They couldn't get people off the 9x platform.
Windows ME forced people to go to Windows 2000.

I wish I could mod you (-1 Incomprehensible)

Same deal here.
We run the super-vulnerable IE 6x.
All 10000 PCs.
Some of us run FF to go on the Internet but that is a BIG no no. It's a "gotta follow the corp standard" thing.
Gee, someone has lots of time on their hands.
a new version of FF comes out every month.
Corps won't change either, cause their most computer-illiterate users happens to be their CIO and his/her underlings.
If something huge happens, FF may actually get into corps even without a Mozilla-created, Corp-approved MSI package.
IMO, if it becomes part of Chrome and you cannot remove it from Chrome, it become a reason NOT to use it.
Nope.
MSI uses GUIDs all over the place.
Serious Admins get tools to create a database of GUIDs make sure that none conflict.
If they do conflict then one of the 2 MSIs must be changed or not be installed on the same box.
Just like slash / and backslash \ in file paths!
I think you are referring to Coke and Pepsi being forced to use corn syrup instead of sugar in the states.
You haven't been to any salvation army stores, have you!
Hey, The faucet and the toilet get their water from the same place. (as a plumber)
Unless you recycle water and flush with grey water OR you drink like a dog, You can drink the water in the toilet tank.
1-When you can pick your OS when you buy your PC/laptop. (the ability to return Windows does not count)
2-When you can sell a used copy of Windows on Ebay.
correct.
The sugar in them MAKES you more thirsty.
You can't taste the sugar because of the fizz.
Drink Water!
I guess it would a giant, dilapidated 50's-style robot vomiting a stream of cans of spams to crowds of innocent people.
I wish I had mod points for you!
My guess: Taco didn't want to get caught with Digg on his screen at work but still wanted to see the same crap.
The irony is that things only get moving when oil is involved.
Now that they have a tanker full of it, the US will be called to "liberate" it.
Once that ship is gone, we'll go back to Status Quo.
You can thank the Idle section for that.
MOD UP Parent!
At the end of your contract, do like I am doing right now:
go for this: $10/mo 100 min and you still get Voicemail, Call Display, etc
