You need lower marks to get into ITM (Info tech management) than to get into CS, So why are these people going to be my boss? My friend dropped out of CS and went into ITM. And everyones shocked by all these tech companies going under;)
I know this movie was started before 9/11 but I mean in quick sucession (basically as fast as you could make a movie) war movies are poping up. I mean Black Hawk down, next is Harts War. Is this just Propaganda because the USA is at war?

I total agree, the matrix take off was funny the first time I saw it (scarry movie I believe) but after that it wasn't funny in the next 10000 films that did it.
I read this, then used windows update and it said no new patches. So do you have to be '1337' to get this patch, I mean god forbid the masses getting this patch.
I love the war on terrorism, and how ignorant 90% of americans are to there own faults. How many innocent people have bombs killed in Afganistan? probably close to how many died in the WTC, and now how many people are going to starve because of this? Who is REALLY the terrorist? Lets look up terrorism in the dictionary.... The use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons.

Wouldn't spending that much money on bandwidth cost more than to just let the people pirate it? Can you imagine how much bandwidth you'd use, and if you are getting charged per meg... bye bye profits

How long until you have to start worrying about your neighbour telling the thought police on you? I've heard from to many politicians call the tragedy on sept. 11th an 'attack on freedom itself'. If you believe the way to fight this enemy that is 'attacking freedom' you take freedom away, then what have you been smoking and where can I get some?
The land of the free my ass, You have freedom of speech if you only say what we want you too. Every thing on TV I see about the war says the same thing, never something they don't want you too hear. For example, when the plane crashed outside of Pittsburgh and I saw on the CNN that their was debris 7 miles away from where the plane crashed (which would indicate that the plane had been shot down). But of course that would make the government look bad. If they lie and say that the pilots saved the day this for one thing makes the American people jovial with a sense of pride thinking "Your every day American is a hero, who will kill terrorists to save the day", and for another thing the government doesn't have to explain why the killed civilians (even if it was the right thing too do, some might disagree). A win-win situation don't you think? And what do you know, 3 hours later on every major news station they never mention the wreckage again. Down the memory holes with that one!
As the USA starts to look more and more like a fascist country (no civil liberties, using the terrorism as an excuse too start a war against any country they want too) I'm thinking I should move up north before WWIII breaks out. Maybe when society degrades to bartering and its like Mad Max, all those hours I spent playing FPS's will come in handy? =)
Read my comment again, I never said there was anything wrong with attractive women in an ST series. I said it's bad when you try to use them to cover up for lack of good writers. And for sex aPPeal what do you make of that whole decontamination bit? Wouldn't you consider them rubing each other down as needless? I liked the show, and it seriously didn't need that scene. Look at TNG, their are (IHMO) no attractive women on that show yet it doesn't need them because the plot is so good. As you can probably guess, I greatly disliked Voyeur and my bias's against it are quite obvious. (no offence to anyone who liked the show, this is only my opinion)
The very close parallel between Six of Nine (err Seven) and the vulcan? Both are emotionless, logical characters, whom don't always fit in with the rest of the crew. Not to mention both are large breasted women in overly tight cloths. Let us hope this is where the parrellel ends, because if T'Pol (I think thats the name) becomes meaningless sex apeal to cover up for the lack of plot, like seven of nine was I'll have to stop watching the show (My apologies to anyone who likes voyeur, err voyager =)
