How about adapting the suicide booths from Futurama?

Let's make "Smoking Booth" and make it mandatory to use them for smokers.

The smoking booth functions as follows: when it detects smoke, it completely drench the inside via its fire suppression system. Every time. Blame it on malfunctions but still make their use mandatory for smokers.

Nothing will replace the computer keyboards that we know and use today.

What will happens is that computers themselves will be replaced by something else. Are smartphones and tablets "computers"? Yes and no. Are smartwatches "computers"? Yes and no.

The only things most people count as "computers" are desktops and laptops.

  13. Toshiba has developed a new fast-charging battery it claims could allow EVs to travel three times as far as they do now, and then be fully recharged again in a matter of minutes.

    [...]

The next-generation SCiB uses a new material for the anode called titanium niobium oxide, which Toshiba was able to arrange into a crystal structure that can store lithium ions more efficiently. So much so, that the energy density has been doubled.

I may not be an electric rocket surgeon but last time I checked, "three times" did not equal "doubled".

Apple very successfully had moved its Mac systems from Motorola to PowerPC to Intel. Their business is designed not to be dependent on 3rd party providers.

Which is why they're moving Macs to their own Axx chips. Total lack of meaningful updates on both the Mac mini and MacBook Air should be proof enough that they will be the first systems to switch, allowing Apple to lower the prices of these Macs at the same time.
