    The sender could have picked a commercial carrier instead. UPS, FedEx, Purolator, DHL... surely there's at least one of those available in Germany. And since it was $10K worth of games, don't tell me they cost too much. Relative to the value of that package, even expensive shipping options become a fraction of its value.

    I remember doing that a few decades ago. I worked at ScumSoft, Inc. and since I was very sick the only way to open my office door was to use a photocopy of my face I did a week earlier.

  15. AFAIK they're up to "A10" now, I just imagined a new model number that was "16" as in sixteen cores and I added M at the end for Mac.

    But yes, increasing their profits (Tim Cook would never lower Mac prices, even though he doesn't seem to care about Macs at all) could be done by using their own ARM CPUs instead of paying Intel for their overpriced CPUs.

    Tim Cook seems to think an iPad Pro can replace a computer, so the next logical step is to replace the computer hardware with iPad hardware.

    Bonus points if they put multiple ARM CPUs or custom ARM CPUs with more cores into their Macs.

  16. A sufficiently good AR system could overlay an alien world over your real environment. That means you're not limited to fake-walking in a room, or limited to a small alien world the size of your room.

    Yes I did, and that doesn't look like a real hologram to me. It seems to be a transparent LCD display that might be able to rotate to face the viewer.
