    "... clearly shows..." that's news to me. Besides, I neither denied nor confirmed a beginning, I merely stated that the postulate that there was a creator in order to explain the observable universe is unnecessary.

    Repeat after me, "Everything is a theory."

    I cannot say that I know what is actually going on in Venezuela because I've never seen it with my own eyes but after hearing here and there in the news about what Chavez has done (like build schools, hospitals, etc.) with petro dollars I'm inclined to think that our fucked up administration has given the order to paint a bad picture of Chavez so that we hate him.

    I also think that if there was a water well that had been privatized was taken over by Chavez so that all the poor could have free water, our news would point out how he is taking by force private property.

    After seeing over and over what our presidential administration has done and the media has not made a deal out of it, wait - they fucking aided and abetted him (!), I'm inclined to think that Chavez is the best edition of a benevolent dictator, an enlightened despot, that the world has known in quite some time.

    I was going to say, are you gnew here but then I saw your Slashdot ID number... it has seven digits! All I have to say is, "Don't hold your breath for that to change." Actually, I, and others here, too, like it that way.

    When I was in high school and college, I smoked pot especially because I loved studying when I was high. PHYSICS WAS SO MUCH PHUCKIN PHUN!!!! 27 years later it still is - although I study different stuff now.

    Yeah, I think there's something phucked up in a system where a student gets straight A's in some subjects like Physics and Math, but gets F's in other subjects like Shakespearean literature. I was lucky enough to squeeze by but I just don't think some subjects should be forced upon us. I knew how to phucking read, why couldn't I substitute SciFi lit for Shakespeare? Because the system is phucked up, that's why.

    I call myself a survivor of the system. Most of my high school friends didn't make it.

    I feel like off-topic posting today...
