Twitter dos not know who I am for one. I also use Twitter using third party clients that are in containers so they know nothing else abot what I do online.
One does not have to stop using social media, but one can use own owned platforms like Matrix (http://matrix.org).
Also one can stop sharing everything about your life.
For example I have Twitter which I mostly use only to read posts as new. I seldom post something myself.
So, not only a new better way to streghten material, but maybe also a way to capture the helium that is being produced? (Helium is getting harder to find these days I've heard).
Here some folks like Spotify, Deezer etx give you what you want. Latest music, (streaming as anyone wants) to a really fair price. Actually maybe too low. And still people gonna download it instead.
But is the cause right and just? DRM protects media company profits by making piracy difficult. As long as the DRM does not spy on me or cause other harm, there's nothing wrong with it.
And how can you check that it's not doing that since it's not open?
No harm in using closed source stuff if that's not ment to not harm you? How about the Intel ME / AMT bug?
This is not about piracy, it's about security.
Swedens domain .se does not show who owns a domain. If more info is needed you have to ask the register.

If it will ever be possible to run programs on multiple OSes I guess some kind of container instance would be needed.
How is OpenSPARC vs RISC-V?
I really hope we get one open hardware taking off.
It does not have to replace the existing arcitechtures but could act as a suppliment.
Many people would like something more open now after all ME bugs etc.
Specially in the INFOSEC community and like.
Thumbs up!
This is not really a "random distribution".
It's really debian with some small customizations.
The company behind it makes secure FOSS laptops (and soon phone).

It will work like any GNU/Linux computer but a really small one.
And yes it will work with Tor as Tor works with GNU/Linux.
Tor also works for Android in case you are currently using that.
Check out Orbot and Orweb. (In F-droid "appstore")

Security, integrity, user control. Libre software and hardware. That's why it is needed.
Users will not come until the most used programs come to Linux.
Companies will not make program for Linux until there are many users
I also use it in work like once a week or so.
Mostly to add arrows, circles or underlineing stuff etc to screenshots when making dokumentation.
People are stupid.

There you have it.
VPN - there, done :)
No thanks, not until they can fix Gibabit internet connection.
Yeah. Email should be seen as sending postcards. It's about that secure.
It's pretty easy though to send and receive encrypted email using for example PGP.
Bye bye Netflix. Welcome back torrents.
This is what open source is about. Together making software better and more secure!

"Imagine running your favorite Windows applications and drivers in an open-source environment you can trust."
Well, you can trust the OS itself, but since almost every program most people are going to run on it are non-free, you can't trust it.
(That's not a problem with the OS though)
