    This is the most idiotic statement I've ever seen him make. It is a good thing if there was little reward, and his implication that he is disappointed that they didn't get more is just mind boggling.

    It sounds like you've never used it. I run it on my gaming rig because, games. It's not bad at all. Far better than Win 8.x and I'd also go so far as to say better than XP or 7.

    ReactOS is a project I've followed for a long time, and this alpha is not perfect, but it's brilliant, in the sense that a viable alternative to M$ Windows is under active development and maturing at a reasonable speed.

    I've been following it, and have played with it, since it's inception. It is NOT ever going to be a viable Wiindows alternative. While I applaud the effort from a geek/hobbyist standpoint, thinking it will ever be a viable option is delusional.

    Sometimes people have valid reasons to not like change or anything different than their favorite [fill in the blank], and sometimes it's just akin to religious zealotry. Mac vs PC vs Linux is another good example. I find it all to be vaguely amusing.
