  1. Yeah but its backend is still Chrome, so it has the same problem of being a resource hogs.
Also, most of those features above aren't that great or useful IMO.

  2. Nothing special.
Just Chrome with a few bits tacked on.

  3. Thank for the the DuckDuckGo thing. Didn't see that. I chose this one cause it had the best results of the ones I tried.
No iPhone. Just have disabled almost all the Google apps (I have Maps, Clock, and Phone)
NoScript and uBlock are already running

Cool. I am good to go.

    This is a joke right?
That pales to the full version and is online only.

    Its a part of 2016
I know, but there isn't another version. Or not another one I found.

  6. So I deleted my Google account last week when I could no longer stop the new Gmail redesign.
Today I switch to Duckduckgo as a primary search engine. Just would really like a way to completely switch from infinite scroll to pagination.
Anything else? I never have used Chrome. My phone is just about as de-googled as you can get.

I actually use this a lot. Is pretty helpful for me.
Sad that it is being removed and there really isn't a replacement.

  8. 1. Because its an ongoing problem
    2. Bullshit. The MS app store is like the rest. Full of hot garbage and if there is anything good on it, there is no way to search for it
    3. I truly feel sorry for you if you need MS guidance
    4. Not really much in the way of options.
    5. The red ones are delicious. The yellow and greens one need to mature more before they are picked. They are very sour.

  9. Edge is better than IE11.
Its still effectively IE12, but it is a better browser than the ones before it.

  10. Doesn't really do anything
All you will get is a boiler plate thank you for using our app we have sent the review to the relevant teams and nothing changes.

  11. No thanks if they are the Win 10 versions of those
Media Player is still garbage and now the Solitaire game comes with ads, doesn't auto complete, and doesn't do a cool thing when you when a hand.

  12. They don't want you to use that any longer. I run into this a lot.
    They want you deploy it.

  13. For entertainment.
I cannot play my games on Linux.

  14. Then you drink Googles Koolaid which is the same as MS but flavored red instead of purple.

  15. If you can even get them to play.
I haven't found a way to even get them to play in a VM.

  16. And when the next service pack if not update comes along, you will need to do it again since it was turned back on.

  17. Pretty sure the feature creep has completely gotten outta hand when you need a search bar to find one.

  18. I figured this out back in 2011.
    How about you?

  19. Microsoft might've truly started it, but all the companies are just as guilty of this.

  20. If they built it that way, they couldn't keep making money on it.

    Never will.
Users continue to refuse to learn anything about their devices and for some reason trust Google, Amazon, Apple, and the rest when they something is good.

  22. Its stuff like this that made me finally delete the account.

My only concern with that is mature YouTube video. Last I was aware they required an account.

  23. Don;t forget the code on the back on them.
    Need those as well.

  24. Not people who think those devices are nothing but toys and hate installing unnecessary apps on their phone.

Just another company to stay away from.

    Who cares about trust.
They have something better. User lock in

Its why Windows is on almost all PCs and why there will only ever be two phone OSes at this point.
