Yes that's right, punk is dead, it's just another cheap product for the consumers head. Bubblegum rock on plastic transistors, schoolboy sedition backed by big time promoters.CBS promote the clash, but it's aint for revolution it's just for cash.

The mainstreaming of the anti-mainstream has been going on forever.
I'll bet most of the actors predicted for the original roles are dead by now. Hmm A Sci-fi movie starring George C Scott, Walter Mathou, and Charlton Heston(oh wait we just wish he was dead).
Oh well, you can't go wrong with Kubrick, even Barry Lindon was partially interesting..
You can't seriously tell me that this election was the closest ever because the American public believed strongly in their own candidate, yada yada yada. This was an exercise in mediocrity, none really cared who won, but as Americans we love to argue. So any time sides can be taken people pull out their "Rights" guns and go at it. Ralph Nader Points out that Americans have the greatest power as private citizens yet refuse to exercise it. I'd like to see some of these people who stuck up so hard for their candidates put their weight behind some useful issue once their candidate gets elected. I'll bet 9 out of 10 of those guys will go home after this is all over and not think about politics till 4 years from know when they can start whining all over again.
It's clear what's needed here, John Katz to do a deep probing expose on cheaters and their lifestyle complete with stories from cheeters arround america.
Of course the point could be made, that NAPSTER guys know no one will use it if it goes to a fee based service. This could be a way for them to get out of their legal troubles, and possibly pick up a large check from the people they have been fighting.
Wait... so that would make working for Microsoft the equivalent of an Actor's inability to get legit roles after working in Stag films... I knew it all along...
At a recent Xbox technical presentation that was held at my school (Purdue) a Microsoft representative said their chief completion was Sony and to a lesser extent Nintendo. When asked about the Indrema he merely laughed pointing out that he thought the project would never get off the ground with out $2bil pumped into it (ie. Xbox..). Which raises the question, Your company is definitely the underdog in shear resources how do you plan to compete commercially with the likes of Microsoft and Sony?
Look it's simple. If I download a mp3 and like the album it came from I'll usually buy the album (better sound quality). If I don't buy the album the mp3 came off of I wouldn't have bought it anyway, so their not loosing money I would have given them anyway. I feel that's more morally acceptable than artists who try to pass one hit and 12 other tracks of crap off as a decent album that I'm wasting my $15 on. If anything the Record industry has gained money from mp3 availability, Personally I've expanded my musical tastes into genre's and bands I would have never considered purchasing if I had never heard the music before I had to pay for it.
Simple, just ORC scan all the books with TextBridge or something similar. We can all be reading miscanned books by next winter! "We the purple.."

I haven't seen any of the books in this series. but from this summary, pratchett sounds Douglas Adams-ish. Can anyone who knows make a comparison here? Also someone reccomend a good one to start out with.
It's obious John has missed the point, Yet a lot of the people who saw the movie missed the point too. These were the people who hated Kaufman when he was alive because they couldn't tell it was a joke. Anyway, Ebert's Review is somewhat better, check it out instead to decide if you want to see this movie(Do go even if you don't like Jim Carry, you actually forget that it's him after a couple of minuets).

What I'm really liking lately is "Made in Canada."
Oh yeah? What's that show a-boot.
