    fuck and shit are like the only curse words we have left. if they become even more common than they are now WE WONT HAVE ANY FUCKING CURSE WORDS!

    they are curse words because they are 'bad'.. they also give our language more granularity for expression. imagine trying to express maximum urgency or negativity without curse words.. you end up sounding like a wimp. "GO AWAY YOU.. DUMMY!" vs. "FUCK OFF DICK"

    curse words are good.. but there is a time and place for them. having dicipline, or "language police" as you put it is the only way to keep these words in reserve

    once all front-end access to email is web based (or webservice based). the back-end will be open for re-implentation with any other protocol.

    it seems it would be the only way to get rid of smtp/pop3 once and for all.

    Most people that use windows have been using it for a very long time. They have a false sense of intuitiveness that won't transfer to KDE. Things like button placement conventions, widget consistencies, and terminology are different (as in whole other universe different). People that were spoon fed windows are never going to try out KDE and think its actually MORE usable.

    The only thing you cannot do is charging for Licensing fees. It does not prevent you from making money off of your work

    you don't seem to understand business very well.. ask yourself, how do software companies make money?

    probably because being an FSF/OSS or whatever the hell the hippies are calling it these days.. the project contains a buttload of 'borrowed' code from other places (bayesian filtering? in an accounting app?) basic shit that they probably coulda/shoulda developed themselves to avoid selling out to the gpl virus and basically destroying all hopes of ever being able to sell it commercially in the future. only way to make money off this is to be a distributor, sorry coders but your ethics are being exploited.. get jobs and join the work force.

    a real programmer can do anything with xor.. why I once witnessed abrash himself make a gouraud shaded bumpmapped scanline renderer only using xor, and he did it in less than 2 hours, with one hand tied behind his back... and it ran on an amiga
