So I am going to be filling out a form with no encryption and no protection for all the important data that an Identity Thief needs. That is just ridiculous and stupid on their part and on anyone that signs up, especially on a wireless connection. I did fill the form out with false data and it then redirects you to another site outside of apple.com https://ssl.linksynergy.com/php-bin/reg/sregister. shtml?mid=13508&no_r=1 that is protected, but it is too late, my data was submitted from an unsecure page. And now Joe Bob ID thief has become me.

You will want to get them the 7280 at least for the US because AT&T are trying to switch everyone to the 850 network. Hence the 7210 will one day be obsolete.
Ok now if i remember right Tivo uses the 2.1 kernel, yet SCO has been saying that they are suing over the 2.4/5 kernel, so are they making a mistake, also If they reversed engineer the Tivo code, which is not GPL'ed I believe, then we can use the DMCA against them. Finally put it to some use for good.
I have done my research on all MP3 players. It took me about 3 years to buy one. The final debate was Archos over Ipod. I went with the Archos. Main reason was b/c it was DRM free, and it works on my Linux/WinXP/Mac boxes. Also the sound quality is great, Rockbox Rocks with their freeware software for the Archos. How many Ipod of Zen users say they can post to Apple or Creative about a bug, or new feature, and have the fix in a few days to weeks. Well you can not with APple or Creative, but yuo can with Archos/Rockbox.
Also who gives a flying fudgsicle about what the thing looks like. I could care less that my Archos is not pretty. Can you drop your ipod down a flight of 10 stairs, and still have it playing a song when you pick it up from the fall. I can. I have had it happen, and not carpeted stairs, concrete stairs.
ARCHOS is the way to go...cheap in price, yet it is of very high quality!
