  1. An exit interview is silly, because the employee is leaving. They are cutting ties and as such have nothing to gain by such a thing. Why would you help a company that valued you so little, that when you went to leave, they didn't start a bidding war to retain you.

    The point is it doesn't matter who did what and what name gets attached to things as long as the information on how to do things is still available. What importance is knowing that this specific person did it versus knowing that somebody did it.

    what I'm saying is what difference does it make whether he's alive or dead now now that his contributions have already been propagated? What what useful output is expected from this? What did the article writer hope to achieve by bringing specific notes to his death? How does that help people?

    So basically the 1st step in responsible observation is eliminated if you're already disassociated from the problem because it's not you. After all you can't observe a situation for what it is until you disassociate from it to prevent emotional Distortion and bias from blinding you.

    Being bossy comes from telling other people what to do beyond the simple delegation and then getting out of their way. Bossy is another name for micromanagement. if you are delegating tasks but you're not granting them the autonomy and access they need , to have control and latitude in the scope of their job then that is the definition of being bossy, or micromanaging. A good boss hires and trains a competent crew that does not need their boss unless something out of the ordinary happens. A competent boss doesn't even need to be there for normal day-to-day operations. they are there to handle anything outside of normal scope and do act as a coordinator.

    The culture must be different where you work and live. Because everyone I know who is the girl that cusses and doesn't put on Airs, and tells the occasional dirty joke, tends to get treated like "one of the guys" or another terms "as a peer".

    If you can't see the absurdity , an arbitrary natureof social standards then you're hardly qualified to work in a field of technical expertise. Too caught up in subjective modes of thinking to see past your own bias.

    That kind of attitude is one of ignorance and placing social value above tactical and practical value. Essentially fashion over function. Sand flea shows that someone would choose an arbitrary standard of behavior over what functions the best from a technical standpoint. way easier to hire in sensitive people that don't bitch and moan to the point of lawsuits than it is to deal with the repeated distractions and escapades of the sensitive. Those who would take the illusion of being right over higher levels of function with less limitations and censorship are not qualified to be making decisions over those who have graduated from such primitive thoughts

    Free-rider isn't a problem it's an exercise in efficiency.. see a certain amount of our society are Workaholics. Even after they have obtained their needs they can't I'll help but always go back to work harder, ranging from diligent worker to the point of compulsive mental disorder. We also have people who range on the other side of the spectrum , ranging from working just how much they need to to supply their daily habits, 2 not working at all to the point sometimes of compulsive mental disorder. Between the two they average each other out, allowing everyone to do okay. Workaholics tend to be dicks. But they get a lot done. People who don't work as much tend to smile more and have better attitudes, they help to cheer up the Workaholics and remind them how to play, and to cover aspects of society they're not work related to Workaholics have no time to tend to. It takes all types. Some people's contributions are just more in the Limelight than others. but all types are important to keep life balanced

    Music industry business model is just not supported by reality, and opposed by the majority of people in practice, if not by words. Piracy being rampid is a direct demostration that the people do not support the concepts of intellectual property. Businesses are not people. I be owned by people but unlike a person it's okay for any business to go out of business while it is not okay for us to just let people die.
