we lease all of our hardware as well. leasing is a great option. with the three year term, its about time to upgrade the hardware when the lease deprecates creating a rotating hardware inventory. this allows us to take advantage of new hardware as it evolves. infrastructre is a perputal cost with either a purchase or lease, leasing keeps the cost down.
I am also a CS major and i hear what you are saying about working together as a team.. Although, I think the skills being presented in my courses are focused more on how well you, as an individual, can contribute original ideas to the team.. How well you can form your own solutions and analyze logic from your point of view.. Once you have developed that skill, then you may bring it to the table where other developers may then apply their analytical skills to your ideas.. this will allow many indivduals to bring their own ideas to the table and combine the best ideas of the individuals to create the best product from the team...

if the eight months in the youth center makes him realize that its not cool DDoS ppl, then it was a perfect sentence..
I mean, really. even if you could make him realize that it wasnt cool and get him to stop by just talking to him, that would be fine..
the idea here is not to punish, but to correct behavior. I support the sentence.. Its nice to see a court where the punishment actually fits the crime..
now what type of slap should the DDoSed companies get for pulling bogus numbers out of the air to trump up the crime.. Furthermore, for being so vulnerable to a kid with a computer..
