Ok why is everybody freaking out about these things going beserk and destroying our life as we know it. I mean if they were going to, or are, enginering these bugs wouldn't it make sense to not allow them any form of reproduction? Kinda like KD, just make what you need if you don't eat the rest don't worry cause the pot from last night won't have overrun your kitchen when you wake up.
Have you ever even been to Europe? Have you experienced their culture first hand? Have you ever even left your room or your computer desk for that matter? You my friend are the type of person that ruins the image of americans for the rest of them. It is that exact type of stereotypical bullshit drivel that drives the rest of the world to think of Americans as nothing more than concieted and rude assholes. Now I don't think this because I have been to the States and I met people. That is the same reason I do not agree with a single comment in your original post. I have travelled Europe and the range of views from country to country and even person to person are so vast that they cover the entire spectrum! Instead of makeing snap judgements why don't you go *outside* (I know that may scare you) and actually *talk* to people (this may scare you to and after not useing your voice for such and extended period of time you may find speach difficult at first but it will come with practice).
When this is released how long could it possibly be before we are able to play divx movies on our TV through the PS2. No more packing the computer between rooms with the other alternative being watching them on a little 17" monitor. Can't wait to see what happens!

Thats just it though. You say to use robots.txt to have it excluded from search engines but that would exclude it all together. With this new metatag it would only have excluded search engine from returning the page for say a search on "printers" but still return a result for " tech support" If that indeed is what the page was intended for. I think this is a great idea.
What kind a keyboard are you useing that is laid out querty? Mine goes qwerty. Wasn't going to say nothing but you made the mistake twice and how can you do that when all you have to do is punch keys that are damn near connected to each other?

the US Postal Service to help coordinate their efforts? Would the government then be to blame, would it be possible to charge them with involontary manslaughter because they provided a service that helped facilitate this attack? People who find logic in this type of reasoning would also find a rock at fault for falling one of their commrades. Good and evil are and will always be taught and percieved differently by people. It is just to bad that there are the types out there that need to point the finger at someone, anyone, just to alliveate there fears. These people are the guilty ones because they are a hinderance to those who trully wish to help.

I whole heartedly belive that the vast majority of the people in this world would more than gladly give up bits pieces or all of their freedom in order to feel safe and protected. These are the types of people that will help facilitate the downfall of democracy. What is security if you aren't allowed to do as you please. I mean sure if I dug a giant hole and lived in a bunker with rations I'd be safe from the vast majority of threats but what type of life would I be living? I belive life is not just about surviving but experienceing and when the opportunity for experience and self exploration is removed that what do we really have left?/end rant
How can you say security isn't a technical issue? Of course it is. It also has a lot to do with how that technology is implemented, the education level of the user, how well systems are maintained.... etc. After reading your posts you did not provide one solid piece of technical info or even much in the way of factual info to back up any of your claims. If you wish to have an opinion sir you should be ready to stand behind it and defend it. In my opinion I think there are a few of the people who use linux or another variant of *nix that like to rag on microsoft for the simple fact that they have done for their OS what you wish you could do for yours. Mass acceptance and implementation. Feel free to post as many flames to this post as you want because they tend to usually show the posters lack of education and or vocabulary both of which I find extreamly ammusing.

Do you honestly believe that a terrorist would actually transfer sensitve materials in plain text or that the US export laws on encryption have actually stopped anyone from outside the US from useing the same encryption you enjoy? Open your eyes my friend because once the gov't gets an inch they are gonna try to steal mile.
Why should people even use the grey matter that is found between their ears when they can just ride the coat-tails of another person's success to the top? It is the same in the music industry, find an old hit, add a beat to it, butcher the lyrics, cut print, watch money roll in.
