Sorry, but the fact that this aircraft was "not built by Boeing" have nothing to do with the issues that have shown up thus far - no Boeing aircraft have flown with a battery system designed or built by Boeing, it's always been an item that's been outsourced (same for Airbus).
The fastener issues were 100% Boeings direct fault (hey, let's ignore the fastener suppliers lead time and assume they can fill any order we want in an mpossible time - wait, no, they can't. Arse. Let's use off the shelf non-aviation grade fasteners then and replace them before the plane flies! Oops, that just cost us months of extra work....).
The side of body issues were a Boeing design fault.
The electrical panel fire was a Boeing design issue.
None of the issues the aircraft has thus far seen has been the result of a part that was outsourced when before it hadn't.
Spirit builds the entire 737 fuselage as an outsourced process, no issues there...
Thousands of suppliers provide major components of the 777, no issues there.
For scheduled maintenance, airlines fly their aircraft to major maintenance bases around the world - if they do their own maintenance, that's usually one of their hubs.
Do you really want a list of all the maintenance fuckups caused by unionised American maintenance companies and groups? Like the unauthorised manner of engine change that ultimately caused the downing of AA 191?
The problem isn't outsourcing, it never has been - but as always, it's a good excuse for those who want to bang the nationalistic drum.
You realise that Saddam did exactly that in the weeks preceding the actual invasion? It reached a point in the rhetoric, and he caved (inspectors were allowed complete access, and several weapons in technical violation were handed in and destroyed) - but it didn't stop the invasion. The US pulled their inspectors shortly before, despite protests from those inspectors.
Sometimes discrimination should just be called "life" - we are all in fact different, and some of us cost more to move around so why shouldn't those that cost more get charged more? Its this continuous PC bullshit that tries to make us all artificially the same, but only in a way in which other people have to ignore obvious physical and mental traits to reach that artificial conclusion...
Fat people weigh more. Taller people sometimes weight more. More weight costs more to move from point A to point B. Thats the basic reality.
The part he left unsaid was "MariaDB is the future because that's where I will make my money".
Remember, this is the guy that tried to get a merger court to give him the rights to MySQL back again after he sold them to Sun for a nice sum of money.
That wasn't a case of software fighting humans, that was an issue of humans doing something incorrectly and not correcting properly - all they had to do was disconnect the autopilot and they would have had full command authority, but they didn't.
Funny that - they gave the autopilot full command authority and then tried to fight it. And failed.
How do you know what someone will be offended by? Can you really moderate your conversation so that any third party that happens to overhear you (she wasn't involved in the conversation) gets to exercise their apparently god given right for no one else to ever say anything offensive at all...?
The moment an exec from Twitter steps within French jurisdiction (which extends a lot further than you think), arrests will be made for contempt of court - look at what happened to the British online gambling company execs arrested in the US for making gambling services available to US citizens, despite the entire infrastructure and company being based outside the US.
You realise that if you present the right symptoms to a doctor, they will give you the drugs you want even if they think you are exhibiting drug-seeking behaviour?
Patients go elsewhere until they get what they want - I have a fantastic story about that, but thats for another day.
The point here is that antibiotics won't do anything for a viral illness - but patients will demand antibiotics for anything and everything until they are blue in the face, many don't accept that the "wonder drug" class of antibiotics won't actually do anything for them.
My wife is a GP, and we literally just had this conversation:) GPs in the UK get 8 minutes with each patient, they can't afford to spend it arguing with the patient, so they issue antibiotics which have already lost their effectiveness due to prior overuse - we aren't talking about threatening working antibiotics.
I think one of the main issues in this media conflict is that the general overall view being put over is one of "Assad" vs "The opposition fighters", with a lot of western media glossing over the fact that most of the opposition fighters are no better than Assad. Assad is not someone I would ever wish to support, but the same goes for the vast majority of those who are fighting his regime at the moment - it really is "the lesser of two evils", and somewhat of a decision no one ever would want to make.
Many western countries are already supplying the Syrian rebels with arms - the recent video showing rebels shooting down a Syrian forces helicopter showed them using a type of MANPAD which was not in the Syrian military's arsenal prior to the conflict, someone gave or sold it to the rebels.
A kernel bug is only one step away from being remotely exploitable - all it takes is a non-privileged exploit to gain access to the server, and then the local bug is exposed.
Java is the only reason I haven't tried Minecraft at all - I've followed its development closely, I like the concept, but its the Java requirement that puts me off totally.
I haven't had Java installed on my systems now for almost a decade, I'm not going to break that habit now.
When you are talking about tens of millions for a C or D check, the cost of the flight to the maintenance base is a minor factor.
Boeing flew the 787 for over 7,500 hours during certification, testing and route proving without this issue showing up - what would you have them do?

That's a non-issue - the extradition predates his entire election involvement, so she would have no issues signing off on the extradition.
Also, hes now wanted in the UK for violation of his bail conditions, which don't need any involvement from the Queen to prosecute.
It's his blog. About the best source you can ask for.
Oracle didn't buy Sun for MySQL, it bought it for Java. Everything else was a distraction that it now has to do something with.

Exactly the same situation as here.
The RAF during WW2 switched to area bombing for precisely the reason to target factory workers and producing members of the German citizenry.

I find it somewhat ironic that Microsoft will support Linux on its IaaS platform before Google will support Windows on theirs.
I know about such projects, but I wouldn't be confident of stability after using them.
