yeah but with php you have a way to programm object-oriented ( know -> with classes etc. ) that make changing little things like the queries a snap, if you _planned_ and _structured_ your backend. but your company got to pay you for that not me.
i got several x-windows crashes with 4.0 every 6days. mostly if i got kdm/gdm ord xdm running to login. i just login via the console to minimize the chance of those nasty krashes.

the explanations of user-authentication are also a killer-app on osX. jhon doe users i know all had to reinstall at least one time, cause they forgot the password.
navigating the filesystem in osX is also like bubblegum. the file-selector blows!

there are also more C/C++ tutorials around the net dealing with microsoft and the happy VC compiler. being a pain in the a* to keep up with the current development of the graphical toolkits (working with CVS when developing), bad API documentations make linux developing quite a deal of work.
i myself got an palmIIIe thats now 1 year old and the scratches on the screen are terrible. a friend of mine got one of the first models and when i examined it, i noticed that the display material is of much higher quality and doesnt get damaged so easily as my IIIe. summing up it comes to the price you pay you get what you deserve, sadly companies should say this to their customers that if they purchase the cheap'o models material is crap.
