If it brings wireless costs down then I'm all for it, windows only or not. Winwifis come out, then regular wifi makers will drop prices to compete. Regardless how you personally feel about MS, more options in the market make for a better market.
actually they used a helicopter to kill the rats

The helicopter just used the GPS to navigate. Meanwhile some guy used GPS to navigate himself out of the desert, and a fisherman captain found his way to pango pango.

Please remember this name during election time if you live in SC.
Don't think your favorite movie star happens to find a certain brand of beverage or food by chance. Its all bought and sold. I've watched scenes in movies that served no other purpose than to promote a product. Also in magazines, you'll see what looks like the magazine's review of a product to only discover in small letters: advertisment. Not to mention deceptive email headers, like "Re: Something not even related to the product I'm trying to sell". It was just a matter of time until Yahoo sold out like they did. We need to backlash though, otherwise other companies will follow Yahoo's lead.
Why does Slashdot think an asteroid defense system is cool, yet a missle defense system is a waste of time/money? Which seems more likely to happen to you? The last time Earth was struck by a significant meteorite was when the dinosuars ruled the Earth. Nuclear missles exist today that might one day be fired upon us. Hopefully not, but more likely than a asteroid hitting the Earth. One more point, you can take the knowledge that you learn from the missle defense system and apply it to shooting down potentially hazardous asteroids.
Yeah, without corporate backing we wouldn't have javascript links that don't work, popup ads, 500K flash intro pages, pages that take 10-20 seconds to load and render on a DSL connection, etc
Without corporate backing you wouldn't have your dsl connection.
Its not all bad..The money that was thrown in the tech sector made the internet a better place..Sure that money has all but dried up now. But without it technology wouldn't be as far along as it is.
If whats being reported here at the register is true then hell has frozen over. According to that article VA Linux is going to add closed source subscription software to SourceForge. I'm still shell shocked from reading it. Can you imagine the backlash if this ends up being true?
Thats right, if you want to see it for yourself check ur favorite viewing guide for "Advanced Paid Programming". Pretty cool!
Gosh, I hope that you are a better physicist than you were a lawyer. I used to be a lawyer, too, and it sounds like I was a better lawyer than you.
and that folks, is how you suck ur own cock.

Stuff that DOESN'T matter
Now if only I could find somewhere in this sad little corner of the world that I'm stuck in that actually stocks them
Really, computer components are the easily thing to purchase online.

Remember this feature in Napster? "Show me all shared files for this user".
Not to mention the monthly fee of $10 to record TV.
