  1. Facebook can scrape your hangouts data? How?

  2. Pennsylvania does. I was always kind of against them, but after reading the parent's comment I think I might have to reconsider that stance.

  3. Wake me up when darktable is better than lightroom and the gimp is on the level of photoshop. Not holding my breath here......

And inkscape? Its nice but nowhere near as powerful and industry supported as Illustrator.

  4. Except linux lags behind Windows on the desktop in terms of usability badly. Not to mention that all the real world applications I need are only on Windows. And games. Wine is great and all but the last time I tried it, I was seeing my nvidia card perform about half as well as it should have. Pass. I do like linux, but lets be honest, its a broken fragmented mess with few quality commercial applications for it.

I find hangouts TERRIBLE. Its terrible on android and has awful call quality. I'm about to go back to the OG google voice app, but then all my old messages are still stuck in hangouts. ARGH. The gmail interface is super bad. I can't stand it. You have to install the chrome app if you want to text people over the web otherwise you can only respond to existing texts.

  8. Sorry to not answer your first question, I am not an expert, but there have been known species (trees) that have cloned for thousands of years with no genetic defects I believe. Didn't they say this particular crawfish has 3 copies? I would imagine that only a mutation would cause a change in the genetic code and it would take an external influence to cause that. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable could answer you.

  9. It seems they are all identical clones with no genetic variation. This is typical of asexual reproduction. The big downside is that something like a single virus could easily wipe them all out.

  10. welcome our new crayfish clone overloards.

#1 Why would he veto it?

#2 Farce? Perhaps. Perhaps not. The jury still seems out on that. Its a fact, also, that Trump is HEAVILY connected to russian money as they were the only ones that would invest in him anymore. There are also possible ties to russian money laundering. Even if there is no direct collusion during the election, which I must add the Russians helped swing in Trump's favor via social networking, even if that is true, the Russians are very much in Trump's pocket. The fact that they changed the RNC's position on Russia during the election is significant. It signaled that they wanted to remove sanctions on Russia. Why would they do this? People seem to have quickly forgotten that Russia invaded and annexed allied territory. The Malaysian jet that was shot down over the Ukraine was also shot down by a russian missile. That is a war crime in itself and an act of terrorism.

The russia story isn't going away. In fact I think they are only beginning to scratch the surface on it.
