Indeed. After posting that I ended up researching it myself. Funny what people tell you is the truth. I had always believed that we were still sitting on stockpiles of weapons.
"President Obama said, "The use of chemical weapons anywhere in the world is an affront to human dignity and a threat to the security of people everywhere. We have a duty to preserve a world free from the fear of chemical weapons for our children."
The United States needs to start dumping its own stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons then.....
when I was a kid nobody would have thought twice about this. now this kid is in jail. he's the one that was bullied. i was bullied a lot in grade school, so I fully understand his frustrations and anger. next the "crushing his head" skit will be banned. our future is fucking fucked.
The united states has a long history of undeclared wars. Vietnam and Iraq being the most recent obvious examples, but the list goes on. The public was unaware of much of what was going on. Just look at Panama.
Have you ever used OS/2? Under a full load, even constantly swapping, it would be very responsive. Rarely did the UI feel like it was lagging. Compare to my windows 7 laptop. Under massive swap or a heavy load sometimes it takes ages just to get the interface to respond so I can switch a task or dial down priority and make the system usable again. That I have to manually turn down the priority of applications that slow my system to a crawl so other tasks can run says a lot about how much windows fails on multitasking compared to better operating systems. I like windows 7, but when I think back to OS/2, I still yearn for something that is as responsive.
I agree with you. The real issue is that a PC has a much narrower bus to move all of that data around. You can throw all the cores in the world in one box, and something like a modern mainframe will still stomp it because it is so much more massively parallel.
I might add that I don't think this contractor is licensed if some other comments are correct. So its very likely a fly by night operation, but then again I could be totally wrong.
And that's the rub with this whole thing. Unless we were there and witnessed it, we have no idea what went down. For all we know she is a lying deadbeat. I'm not saying that's the case, and to be honest, I'm more inclined to be sympathetic to her, but without any real evidence its hard to say what really happened here. A review and a lawsuit doesn't tell me much.
Flight 427 was actually the result of a faulty rudder ending up locked in an extreme position. The plane toppled over and plunged straight into the ground. Initial speculation was the wake of another pane as they had not discovered the rudder defect yet.
Don't you mean China's improving economy? We've already lost half our middle class. I don't see the improvement unless you count new walmarts progress.
I have the Transformer Tablet with keyboard and, while yes it is very, very useful it really still isn't a general purpose computing device. You can run linux on it in a chroot, but that only gives you X over VNC. Its possible to evetually dual boot it since it boots linux already anyways. People have been doing this one the prime. In that context it is actually fairly impressive and had 3d acceleration...though I don't think sound works yet. From the videos I've seen it performs much like a netbook running linux. Like a 2nd generation netbook. Most of the apps for android are optimized for phones, so that is a downside. There aren't a huge number of productivity apps for android on tablets. There are some nice apps though. Honestly I use this more than my notebook now. The screen has the same resolution roughly and is smaller so it looks better. For internet communication and web browsing this thing is pretty awesome. Also I am photographer and I can just plug in an external usb powered mini drive and dump my sd cards straight to the drive pretty quickly. Ghost commander works well as a file manager too. I have the bootloader unlocked and I'm running the hydro jellybean rom atm. Its still a little buggy and the i/o is awful right now, but its still a very fast and usable tablet. Some of the games rock too.
we lost a long time ago. papers please?
This is actually a great idea.

You are going to kill AC? Please god do us all a favor!
They should grow a pair and start worrying about real threats and not some kid throwing virtual darts at their pictures. Gimme a fucking break.
and let me add....he's 15. a minor. charges? wtf is this country coming to that even kids are now criminals?! WTF AMERICA??

This is fucking unreal. Thought crime to the fucking max man.
Fuck yeah!
That's really funny because I was reminded of bad acting in video games from the "multimedia" era while watching this.
Are they? That would be news if they also substituted characters.
Agreed. This is simply unacceptable. No other way about it.

Too bad you posted this anonymously. We need more people that will stand up to this tyranny. Who's watching the watchers?
They should have been tried as adults given the severity of their crimes.
That was super cool.

What a typical politician. Apologizing and then claiming it wasn't an apology. He really needs to get the doublespeak thing down a bit better.
