Well, my interpretation of his question is along the lines of "is there a keyboard shortcut that *instantly* moves a window to another display, without having to keep ramming the arrow keys until it's where I want it".
a) He's asking wether someone *has* done something like that, so he can be one of the mythical everyone elses people keep talking about. b) A lot of people seem to be using whatever window manager they want, and I expect fvwm is still in good use c) He's not actually talking about multi-desktop, he's talking about multi-screen. He wants to use the keyboard to move a window to another physical monitor, not another virtual desktop.

He might also have had ADD and seen a shiny thing soon after; or he may have lost the moment of brilliant insight before he got his hands on more paper. He may even have started to write it down, only to discover a flaw.
I generally agree with your rant, but I'd like to point out that the Allium family has more than just regular garlic. A wild plant that's called 'daslook' here (look is garlic) of that family, does look a lot more similar to the drawing: http://www.waterwereld.nu/images/daslook2.JPG .

I may be wrong, of course.

Cops aren't allowed to lie about their identity, are they ?
Given their track record, I choose to believe that their marketing department has returned to the competitor's block until they prove otherwise.

Last time I checked, electronics *were* hardware.
"I" *is* the sum total of your wiring, so yes, you are rewireable.
Yes, especially because everyone in the world speaks fluent english.
> Do you really think the pirates are so tough an enemy for a superpower like the USA?
That's exactly what they said about the vietcong and the taliban.
I take it you mean "the same results" to not include speed, memory and disk imprint ?
So you're saying users don't know what they want ? Gosh, that never occured to me *cough*
An autoclave takes about an hour, if I'm not mistaken. Additionally, I for one am not going to stick my arm in one that's on.
