because i've got good access to demand for my skills, pay several times higher, and finally got to move up in my career and actually get to do something.
If you have low ambitions and abilities, and are looking for healthcare and retirement, then canada is for you.
They'll give away citizenship, but they won't do a dam thing for people in their own country. Disagree? look at me.
Don't be led to believe this kind of propaganda, canada has always tried advertising itself as the best country and looking to get top rankings, that should be a big red flag right there.
I left canada after years of problems dealing with cheap companies and bad management, and i'm so glad I did.
Taxes are much higher, and there are far fewer good jobs, most of this growth they mention is short term beginner level jobs that aren't very well paid or last long. The difference in pay is dramatic.
Just look at all the big business and money the US has, canada has nothing like this, not even 1 big player. When I read some of the positive comments in here it makes me think what the heck is wrong with you. Try going to canada and i'll be laughing at you.
And if anyone doesn't like what i'm saying and doesn't want to believe me, just wonder WHY are all these people in the world looking to come to the US to work in the first place!
I dont think he is guilty of a criminal offence. Notice that the story didnt explain what usernames/passwords were given weeks before his arrest, whatever access he gave them it was obviously NOT FULL access, even if it was, the circumstances would have to be better understood why he did this. I think considering HE was solely responsible for this public network, he was the only person besides the mayor that could make that call. A breach on this scale of a network could expose private data of millions of people, he had good reason to be paranoid. It was in his professional opinion that he decided his boss was not authorized, and I dont see how that breaks the law specified. Also just imagine if he did give his boss access and there was a major breach! What would people be saying then! He could be blamed for giving up access when he knew his boss was likely to mishandle it.
that's for sure, the only stupid country of its kind, socialist, leftist, and they wonder why they have problems. And now if you disagree with it, its treated worse than a crime. They created these problems andthen try to contain anyone from opposing it, there's no democracy here.
Too bad the newer SAS SCSI drives don't have a proper RAID controller yet. The company I work for was just about ready to get one until I found out you need a 10k storage array, worth more than the whole server.
There IS still new development with bbses, even besides some programs moving to groupware, there is also this one: http://sourceforge.net/projects/ibbs
So many things have changed, it would be really interesting to see what we would have now with the internet, IF demand for bbs usage kept climbing as it was.
I run a linux BBS, anyone who's interested in how a BBS should be these days should take a look. For example file downloads are less important as well as asking someone their DOB, street address, etc.
I sure remember how good bbses were for co-ordinating hacking activities:) I had mine going, always was afraid of the cops coming back then, not now:)
if you've got anything going or are interested, by all means come to telnet://solarflow.dyndns.org
It may only run win 3.1 apps but it was the best for it's time and still runs them well (and fast).
There's a page dedicated to it at
