But to be tricked to come there is underhanded and entrapment. Not to mention I think it may even fall under the 5th Amendment if you're admitting to doing the crime even to take the job, fake or not.
I do have a media plan where a x amount is free and after that charged. But considering how this entire conversations started, it's his personal phone that his friends call, and he wants them to text instead....so you can easily eat up all those messages.
So you'd rather pay for the text message? Some of the companies charge $0.10 a message. That adds up after a month. Plus the $0.10 to send it. You're an expensive friend to get in touch with.
Some Martian will get the Engergizer bunny to jump start it and reprogram it to warn us of out impending doom and then all the computers on Earth will start a countdown....
Maybe I've watched to many B-rated scifi movies?
I don't know, online stuff is good and all, but I've been in enough situations without access to the Internet (or any other network) to where I still see value in local applications.
But not only that. How many times have a big internet company lost logins and passwords and personal data? And while Google Docs is good, I like having my full featured suite available, whether it be Open Office or Star, or Microsoft, or whatever.
Or has it been stung into action by Steve Ballmer's recent comment that Microsoft Office faces stronger competition from StarOffice than it does Google Docs and Spreadsheet?"
Well of course MS is facing stronger competition from StarOffice. After all it is a full featured office package. Google Docs and Spreadsheet are neat, but nothing beats having all the features an office suite provides.
When I open Outlook, clam pops up it's splash screen for outlook. Other than that, I just use clam to scan files I download before I open them (zip files). I forget it's even running until it tells me it updated.
Well you already mentioned Clam AV. I use that myself. I'd go with that. Some of my friends use Avast, and I don't have a problem w/ that either, but Clam works for me.
Do you work for Amazon? Okay all kidding aside now.
You're review (both postings) actually have me considering how great this would be for when I'm working on things and I can upload text files for reference when I'm not home.
Don't the netbook and the kindle try to reach to 2 different markets? A kindle is great for traveling and reading on the bus or plane or train or whatever and small to use to keep a reference book open when working on something in the field or whatever. The netbook is still a laptop, still much more bulky than the kindle, and can't be used or traveled with the same ease.
Maybe. But in PA, the sales tax is 6%. So if something is a $1.00 it's $1.06. Now you know the tax won't go down to 5% which now leads to a 4% increase to get to a whole number. Yes, yes I know everything can still be 99cents to make 1.05 but what about non taxable items, so now everything will have to increase to be a round number.
Oh. Sorry. I didn't even read the Britannica article. I looked and saw it was on the front cover, and I was satisfied. Being that it's football Sunday, if it doesn't hold my attention very long I don't delve to deep.:)

It's borderline entrapment.
to the entire article translated.

Well actually, in some states it's illegal to call a cellphone for telemarketing.

if some Martian someday is going to stumble across this machine and be "Damn Earthlings and their litter" and then destroy us.

How did you get it to do this? Mine does not but I like that idea.

I thought it was falling because she was endorsing Obama over Hillary and that enraged most of her female audience?

Yet, it wasn't the first post... I'm pretty sure this is.
Knight Industries. Haven't you seen what the new KITT can transform into?
Then everything better be running some Point Of Sale system. Imagine doing that in on a common register and then keeping the books...

What happens if America does way w/ the penny?
I had that for a while too.. then they died off. And now they come in 15's or 10's.
It would then be if I had a gold mod point!

Unless Linus signs a release and he can join the military early.
