My favorite SNK product was a NES game called 'Athena'
Ah yes Athena, the game that gave us the Athena (albiet a bit better clothed) that would appear in lots of SNK fighting games. That NES game was my first exposure to SNK.
My theory on why Capcom is more popular is because their games appeal to scrubs, especially arcade scrubs more than anything. (Though they can be played on a high level.)
Man I'm going to miss SNK, they tried to innovate in fighting games and produced some of the greatest 2d fighting games I've ever played. Too bad it wasn't enough to save the company.
Well, I'm pretty sure Kwanza bot will be like the robot santa, but for Kwanza.
Kwanza is an African American holiday celebrated from December 26 to January 1. (It's not a religious holiday or meant to replace Xmas or anything, a mistake many people make.)

It's pretty much tradition that a console launches in the country that designed it. (I doub t it's a voltage issue.) One reason I think is because game hardware companies need to gear their software and other stuff towards a different market when they launch in another country.
It's the same for the MS Xbox, it'll launch here before Japan. MS has a whole team dedicated to just the Japanese launch. I know they are making different controllers to suit the "Japanese style of play" and I'm assuming they'll have different launch titles as well.
Yeah, I watched it and I am impressed as well. I noticed in the credits there is no section for "toonami" or "cartoon network" version staff, which is telling as I think there was very minor censoring if anything....
All I can think of is maybe a shot with blood removed, and I swear the color of Abdul's afro just looked weird, but I haven't seen these episodes in a while so I could be wrong. Regardless, I must say I'm amazed it could air like this.
The only thing I really have to grip about is the TV 14 rating always being in the upper left corner. Does anyone else find this funny since the adult swim block tells kids under 17 that they can't watch?
I think the whole swim block thing is rather lame though, bring me Tom and the Absolution(is that his ship?) instead of old ladies in a pool being yelled at by a lifeguard anyday! Anyone else feel the same?
Which first episode are you talking about? The one with Ein (Stray Dog Strut) which was the first episode on TV in Japan I believe, or the "real" first episode, the red-eye one, whose name escapes me at the moment? It was the 13th episode produced I believe, after the 12 broadcast ones...though I thought Bebop found a home on some cable/satelite channel in Japan?
I bet Cartoon Network/Toonami will just skip the real first episode and show Stray Dog Strut. What I want to know is what they will do with characters like Gren and Vicious....

I doubt they'll show Gren's breasts, but I wonder how much of Vicious' violence we will see. (his coup d'etat comes to mind) Of course, I guess they could just cut out lots of episodes. =P That would be interesting, the Cowboy Bebop series w/o any of the 5 Vicious episodes.
That guy might seem a bit obsessed, but he's nothing. At least his setup can play multiple games. This guy built this custom setup just to play GT3, it's crazy.
Check it out.
Obviously, Randy Fry (or whoever the guy on the "Direct Connect" fliers is) should buy this and reverse engineer it.
Think about it, his chain already sells Chocolate notebooks and cellular phones...

Dammit, I forgot about the /. effect and that it was geocities. *bows head* Well, I'll never link again w/o permission for the site's host.
