    I would rather be able to Detect Police Radar/Laser with my GPS. And then internet enable the sucker to upload/download other points that people have detected radar. Then my GPS can adjust my route to avoid police speed traps.

    Patient Health Care information must be protected and hidden from the public. Yet this law would prevent this...

    So you buy an internet connection DSL/Cable/Whatever. The External Service Providers job is to get that connection to your house. Then it is my job to be my own service provider. To get the service from my house to the various rooms in the house. My/Your NAT box does not hide the data going from your room to your nat box. And your service provider can still see the data that is going in and out of your house which is the connection that they provide. Question: Does this rule apply? I think so.

    It should be a screwed up, headache causing mixture of BOTH.

    If this test was done right the tester should have just used the Win2k CD instead of the Sony System Recover CD that includes all of the extra crap that manufacturers love to have "pre-installed" with your new system. Win2k Can be installed on average in 15 minutes. Another 15-20 for all your drivers for periferials. And much less than 8 reboots. It is only recommended to reboot... you don't HAVE TO.

    Do you think that the conditions on a boat 1 mile from shore are that much different than someone at home at their beach front house (the house may not have the AC on, or vice versa, the boat may have AC) Secondly, how long does a computer last. Is rust really a factor for those people who are replacing components yearly becuase they are no longer the best on the market?

    I bought a 96 328is with 53k miles on it in 2000 for 18.5k... it is now 2002 and the car has 80k miles on it... Last check of Retail value on the car a month ago was 18k... I'm not complaining here.
