Agreed. Occasionally you'll get a bum mouse that frequently loses connection. Logitech is good about replacing the mouse though. I've got a new one coming to replace the one I use at my desk. My travel one has never caused a problem. Like you, I'd buy another one in a second.
The new Apple one is intriguing though. Does laser tracking really matter that much over optical? I've got a Logitech MX1000 I use on my PowerBook G4 and have never really noticed a difference.
Actually senior executives routinely make stupid decisions to kill off products that make money. Remember, the fat cats only care about pumping up the stock price for their options and the quarterly results. These folks are generally not engineers and don't care about nor do they have a clue about making quality software or hardware.
I'd love to be proved wrong here, but wouldn't hold my breath. Big acquistions like these are generally never good for the acquired company.

I don't think your CDMA phones from the US will work in Asia either. At least with GSM you have coverage in most of the world except South Korea and Japan (for sure), and perhaps China too (haven't been there to find out though).
Better yet, don't listen while walking. I don't wear the trendy white ones (got a pair of Etymotic 4S). I always find when I wear them when walking about that I lose my situational awareness (traffic, etc.). I never feel real comfortable about it. I tend to limit my wearing to the treadmill, planes, and trains.
Methinks you'd sing a different tune if you were robbed. It is a physical violation of your space. I got pick pocketted over 20 years ago (when I was a naive teenager) and have never forgotten it. I learned my lesson too about being aware of what is going on around you. It hasn't happened since.
Speak for yourself pal. You want to support the poor by being robbed, go right ahead. I don't intend on that happening to me.
Typical of a Pee-Cee company. I too work for a Pee-Cee company due to an acquistion. Lots of stupid things have been done since Pee-Cee companies have no clue how to sell to enterprise customers (i.e. customers that run Unix). However, they haven't gotten that stupid yet. I suspect there would be a revolt of us legacy enterprise computer company employees if that were to occur (we deliver the bulk of the revenue - so we aren't entirely powerless). But this kind of stupidity definitely gives me pause.
Just like if my car is stolen, I don't want it back. Same reasons, plus it just wouldn't feel right. It is a violation of your "space," to have something stolen. I had my wallet stolen when I was a teen. I learned a lot of lessons from that event. The number one lesson is to be aware of your surroundings and don't be a victim.
Wow! The specs on the upper tier white machine are fairly equivalent to my PB 15" I got last Feb. Can go to 2GB RAM, 120GB disk, and 1280x800. This is really a good thing. Apple is very competitive against PC's now!
My last comment... Paul taught us that we are to try to do as Jesus taught, and yes, we quite often miss the mark. That doesn't mean we aren't supposed to try. My original rebuke of you stands.
I'm a Jesus Believing Christian. Your post was just fine up until the point you started gloating and laughing at Phil. Perhaps you should take a moment to reflect on how you failed to behave like Jesus taught us.
I wonder if this patch is what has prevented me from installing my new webcam. I have a Dell D800 (nVidia Go5200) running XP Pro SP2. I would get STOP errors (BSOD) and some would reference video drivers. I'll try again after I get the new update. Anybody else had this happen? My next step is an OS reinstall (which isn't a completely bad idea, since I've been running on this for a year and a half).
As Quicken for Mac is inferior in every respect to Quicken for Windows I would love it if Intuit would either make them the same or have something that makes it easy for them. I have to remote desktop in to an older laptop running XP Pro to use Quicken. Alternatively, a virtual machine would fit the bill for me. I've got a year old PowerBook and am waiting for a couple of revs of the MacBook Pros before I migrate.
Are you absolutely certain any entities you deal with for pay (either from you or to you) don't use Symantec products? If so, you pay. If not, you don't. Just don't be so positive this isn't going to cost. It may not cost you directly, but could indirectly.
This is supposed to be funny?
This makes a lot of sense, given that Xeons went in to the Mac Pro and Xserve.
I would argue that McVeigh and his ilk are not Christian... certainly not Believers in Christ.

I use the Logitech V270 with my Lenovo. Very nice. No dongle.

Not true. Microsoft now pays a dividend ($0.36/share for a 1.60% yield per Yahoo today). Not big mind you, but it does pay a dividend.
Parallels is not an emulator. It is virtualization software.
You aren't funny. Whomever modded this funny needs to gain a little empathy!

Ummm... if you want to run Intel software on a PPC Mac use Virtual PC. It's slow, but it works.

I couldn't have said it better myself. I'm a veteran myself. Keep your six cleared.
A SGT in the US Army does NOT make $80K USD / yr. I don't know what you've been smoking, but better try something different.
McNealy's departure is long overdue. Finally a Board of Directors fires a non-performing CEO.

Were you in ECS?
