So when that wave passes through your mass, creating a disturbance in the space time, is it as if mass was added to your mass for the duration of the wave? You guys gave excellent examples, I'll have to think about this as soon as I finish paying my bills..
It's not something that moves along is it? It's a perceived distortion of time space? I'm thinking of the metaphor of the flat surface with the heavy object in it that shows in 3d how mass would be attracted to mass. So what is a wave? A flexing of space time? or is it time to update the usual way of thinking of it?
How about an app that translates abnormal sounds to someone who is deaf.. Such as..
I hear water running.. (I've left the not water on for hours)
The toilet flushed (not good when you are home alone)
A knock on the door.
Frantic banging on the door
Baby crying
Tornado sirens
smoke detector beeping (Couldn't figure out why my dog was shaking)
Unidentified noise (db level)
We are actually quite good at it, as we do in everything, we apply a deep level of analysis to how we are doing it.. 5 quick 5 slow;) make sure you use a prime number!
Maybe for local trips, but if you are commuting daily and on the road for 1-2 hours a day, wouldn't you rather do something else? I would be happy to catch up on my sleep or do other tasks and let the vehicle drive itself. I hate the waste of time in commuting and would see this as an opportunity to regain it.
So if the autonomous car is surrounded by vehicles going 65, will the algorithm maintain a safe speed in relation to the other vehicles or insist on obeying the law? I would think it would be case #1, otherwise, you increase the chances of a collision law or no law..
The purpose of knowing driving skills is to match the technology we are using (so we don't die or kill something else). As the technology changes, so will the skills we need. Is it a loss? Or is it freedom to do other things. Personally I think if if you think it's a loss, you are simply embracing a "can do " self sufficient mentality for ego's sake.
I ain't got no time for dat! Seriously.. it's about the backbone technology. Your average person isn't gong to be a subject matter expert on computer security. It has to be embedded in a transparent fashion to make it work and it has to be a transparent technology (as in open source) so the government doesn't use it for their own ends.
In North Korea.. Kim Jong-Un signs on as YOU!
